Lora was wonderful throughout the entire process, up until rehearsal. I don't know what happened. She wanted to take total control of the officiant & kept ordering our videographer to get out of the way. Ceremony was beautiful.
We were absolutely floored with the WONDERFUL food & service we received from this caterer. Beverly was great in all levels. We loved the warm, old world charm the romanesque room has, it was perfect for us! We had 150 guests but the room didn't feel empty or too crowded. One drawback is that the candles that we worked so hard on were not lit due to the staffs lack of knowledge of the fire permit being paid. We did get our money back for the fire permit, but I was stuck with over 100 candles that were not lit. Remember to ask for ALL YOUR ITEMS BACK, we didn't get our cake topper back.
I have nothing but great reviews for this vendor. I got exactly what I asked for. All the flowers were beautiful, the centerpieces were gorgeous & my bouquet was so romantic & beautiful that I had them professionaly freeze dried & stored in a glass container. Jay is so much fun to work with, he delivered exactly what we wanted.
I loved this place the moment I walked in. The sales girl that helped me was very honest with her opinions & let me browse with out feeling pressured. I tried on tons of dresses before finally picking the one I bought (La Sposa) Months before my wedding, I ordered the veil to compliment my dress, but the manager (terrible at customer service, she needs her attitude checked!!) wasn't sure & was very insecure as to a time of arrival. I was under a lot of pressure, so I decided to order it. I called several times only to be directed to the manager there. She was very unpleasant to work with. I couldn't get an answer out of her as to when my veil was coming in. The veil finally came in & it was well worth the wait. TOO BAD THE MANAGER IS STILL THERE. If it wasn't for her (anastasia) La Soie Torrance would have received a higher, well deserved rating.
I met with the owner at his place & we described exactly what we wanted to hear for our wedding. Lionel played for a good 20 minutes, he played exactly what we wanted to hear (old school disco, cumbias, r&b, & modern dance music) He was very professional & knew exactly what we wanted. On our actual weddind day, the music for the 1st dance, father/daughter, son/mother & so on were played according to what I wrote. For the dollar dance, it was a DISASTER. I gave a long list of songs that should have played, unfortunataly, only a handful of songs were played because the DJ let the song play too long. When the dancing came into play, 75% of our guests left, due to the lack of music. NONE of the selections that we mentioned to Lionel were played. It was more like Donna Summer songs, argh!! DISASTER!! i was better off with a back yard DJ that wasn't announcing/promoting Power 106 every 10 minutes.
My husband brought me to Icing On The Ring to select the diamond & design my engagement ring. Vic helped us through all the entire process; he was very patient, informative & professional. My ring is beautiful! We went back for our wedding bands & several other jewelry pieces since then.
