Our Story

So I met Phil on my first day of school in 8th grade. My parents divorced and so I started at a new school in the middle of the semester. Surprisingly my 1st teacher was an old family friend and after class I asked him how to get to my next one. He was talking with Phil and Phil said " oh I go there next I can show you" and he took off, the halls were crowded, I didn't know his name so I couldn't yell for him to wait, and he was gone. I eventually found the class and looked at him and he looked away. So yeah, he ditched me on my first day at school. Well later we ended up having about 4-5 classes with each other, I sat next to him in one class and we got to become aquainted with each other. In high school we had the same group of friends so we were able to hang out a little more with each other and I really liked him. I asked him out in 9th grade and he turned me down because he "wasnt ready for a relationship" I would be his first girlfriend. Eventually we became really close friends we started dating and then he asked me out the summer before 12th grade. After high school we picked colleges close to each other, which didn't work out too well because I ended up changing schools and now we are 6 hours apart. But that distance made us fall in love even more. And so over winter break he propposed and we plan on getting married in 2011 so we both are graduated, and looking for a job to save up some money. :)

The Ring

I do not have a ring, I have a necklace. I love puzzles and am a whizz at them. So for the proposal he had a puzzle made of him on one knee with my necklace in his hands. So I had to put the puzzle together and before that he took the piece out that had the necklace on it. So when I asked for that last piece he gave this wonderful speech about how I fill him with happiness and joy and that I fill this empty void in his heart and how we go together much like a puzzle. The necklace is a silver puzzle piece with the date engraved on the front and an inscription on the back.

Our Wedding Plans

I am planning a snowflake winter theme wedding. And everything will be handmade by my sister. The invitations, place cards, menus, everything.
