The company was quite involved in meeting all the details and planning of the reception catering venue. But when the day of the event arrived, they fell far short. The table cloths were too short, did not reach the ground, and only half of the tables were able to be covered. I (the groom) and the best man had to drive frantically around the morning of the wedding trying to find a last minute party rental store to match our table cloths then rush back to the reception site with them. It was a nightmare. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Custom Staffing responded with the the following comments: We refunded you the extra $47 dollars you spent at the rental store because the rental company we outsourced for tablecloths made a mistake and delivered the wrong size tablecloths. (as you know we cater food & supply event staff but we do not have rentals & that is a separate vendor) Since your party planner was at the event site 2 hours before our arrival time for catering, she should have gone to the rental store. F.Y.I. when there is an event planner involved they are supposed to deal with rentals. We threw all the rentals (plates, glasses, silverware, linens, etc) in free of charge to you since you said you were on a tight budget. In doing this we cut into our profit by $600 bucks. Also we provided you a free beer & wine bar.(alcohol, cups, ice, ice tubs, napkins) Normally any caterer charges additional fees if they cater the drinks too. It appears all of the "Freebies" we provided to you were overlooked. We were busy loading all the food, alcohol, supplies etc into the catering van so were unable to have time to drive back to the valley to the rental store since we are in Culver City & your event was in Arcadia & we wanted to be on time. The event planner should have driven to the local rental company in Arcadia. (that's why you hired a planner to deal with the vendors)
I cannot say enough good things about Ziva. She made our day memorable, and her sweet, humble demeanor was a treasure. Our pictures turned out glorious, more than we could have ever dreamed for.
Beautiful flowers, wonderful insight and decorations, breathtaking displays. We were very happy, and very delighted by the results. The flowers for the groomsmen, the bridesmaids, the bride, even the tossing bouquett were all so elegant. And Cristina works with your budget, offering priceless insight. Highly recommend her service.
Did an extraordinary job handling the music for the ceremony, and reception. All my guests at one point were out of their chairs, jumping up and down dancing. There was not a guest who didn't dance! And Dean the DJ played all of our selected music, even took requests from the crowd. I was very happy. He was very flexible with his scheduling. He also came out to the rehearsal, and played the music at the rehearsal for all of us to practice to. And the accent comes with the price!
This company, Jerry and Marilyn Seeger truly made our day glorious. All of our treasured moments were captured. They included to capture our friends, families, did interviews, covered the ceremony and reception. And when it was all done, they refused a handshake but rather gave us a hug, and cried with us happy tears of joy. The owner and his wife were a God send, and I would highly, highly recommend them to everyone I know. You won't be disapointed. They work with you, they are caring, and they have a ton of experience and insight. I am teary-eyed just writing this, remembering how wonderful Jerry and Marilyn are.

They took forever to return our phone call, which was discouraging. And though we were happy with the preview session, the day of fell far short, with a much different look. My bride was disapointed, even cried. The owner blew off my complaint. And the stylist that came to do my bride's hair, seemed to give the impression she was in a hurry, having 3 other clients after us. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Without Stephanie and her team, our wedding would have been a disaster. She was an Angel, looked like one, and behaved as one. She was a sounding board to our frustrations, and an inspiration to us throughout our wedding, even the months leading up to the evenent. I cannot imagine our wedding without her. She handled everything so meticulously, perfectly, and made our dream wedding come true. I highly, highly, highly recommend Stephanie at Exquisite Events. Even after the wedding, we now call her a good friend of ours.
