This review is actually for Hotel Zaza in Houston. This is a wonderful place to have a wedding reception - the service is amazing, the decor is soooo "cool", the food is delicious and all guests raved about the accomodations. That said, it's not cheap but still a good value. Only watch out - understand the extras during preliminary discussions. For example all parking is valet and is $12/car for the event and $21/night (we hadn't thought of this when we booked this venue and thus this was an extra expense we had to cover for our guests).

The church management were very easy to work with and the church was beautiful and clean.

We really liked Barbara but unfortunately she was extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone. The cakes themselves were awesome - they were delicious and delivered on time. We would recommend this vendor but suggest early communication of details, etc.

The DJ was awesome - they allowed us to choose many songs vs. just utilizing a standard list. The DJ at the event itself was very personable and fun.
