Denise was amazing. She listened as I described the kind of colors/flowers I wanted, asked the right questions to help us pin down the kind of "look" we were going for, and came up with the most gorgeous bouquet/table settings/boutonnieres/wall hangings imaginable. She knew exactly what was going on in my head even though I couldn't verbally describe what I wanted.
Denise was also very responsive to my many emails regarding types of flowers, what would look good with what, and the overall look and feel of the wedding. And she was at the wedding site all day, pinning boutonnieres, hair flowers, and creating on-the-spot flower arrangements for the little things that cropped up (we forgot my nephew's boutonniere and my toss bouquet!).

We were so excited to select our cake that we did that first! We sampled Christy's cakes at a bridal show in San Luis Obispo and fell in love. Her cake is moist, and the fillings she added are so creamy and delicious. We want to get another cake from her every year for our anniversaries!
Christy was very flexible with our meeting time. There was cake ready to be sampled when we arrived and she was very attentive to what we liked/disliked on a wedding cake. Her warm demeanor and knowledge of everything wedding cake made our decision for us. Also, we'd heard rumors saying "anything you see online, in pictures or magazines, Christy can make." Everyone, the rumors are true.
I would recommend Morning Star Creations for any occasion that requires a cake.

We met with Brian with AVS about a month before our wedding. He was professional and very warm right off the bat. He answered all of our questions and when wedding time came around, he knew exactly our tastes and what we wanted played. Not one song on the "do not play" list made it to the dance floor! Great job, professional and friendly service. If you're ever in need of a DJ, AVS is the place to go.
We contacted Alex from Caballero Video about a month before our wedding, as we had just decided we wanted a videographer. Fortunately for us, he had our wedding day open and we scooped him up! Both Alex and his assistant were almost invisible throughout the entire wedding and were so fun to work with during the reception. Plus, our wedding video turned out fantastic. The way it was filmed, it turned out like a beautiful story with the best ending. I would recommend Caballero Video to anybody needing a videographer.
Janet and everybody at Village Papery deserve medals for the outstanding service they provide. They gave us in depth knowledge of table numbers, seating charts, and favors. They offered cost-cutting options, such as printing the table numbers and the seating chart in-house. And when our invites printed too big for the envelopes (by a third party printer), they notified the printer and we received a second set of perfectly fitting invites at no charge.
The people at Village Papery bent over backwards to provide great service with a smile. Village Papery responded with the the following comments: Shannon and Shawn were a delight to work with. Thanks for the great review and we hope you had a wonderful wedding!
We didn't think about table linens, napkins, or chair covers until the last minute (1.5 months before the wedding) and Julie with Cover Ups was such a big help! She was able to work around my work schedule so we could meet and discuss our vision for the reception.
Cover Ups came highly recommended and rightfully so. Julie listened to our ideas, threw in her own, and combined them all to make a truly beautiful reception. We received many compliments about the decor and numerous friends and family members remarked that they had never seen a more gorgeous table setup. And the fact that Cover Ups had booked another wedding on our date didn't matter...Julie came in the day before and got everything set up!
The level of professionalism, friendliness, and creativity definitely makes Cover Ups worth every penny.
