Brook Lodge is a fantastic venue to have your rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception! The staff is very professional, extremely helpful, and very organized. Our photo's are absolutely beautiful as the grounds provide many opportunities for backgrounds. The food was amazing! Our meals were served hot and the service was prompt. One more added benefit is onsite lodging with breakfast in the morning. As our wedding night concluded some of our most important guests opted to stay at Brook Lodge. It was especially nice to wake up and have an extraordinary breakfast with everyone to share one last moment of thanks. I highly recommend Brook Lodge as your wedding venue! You get what you pay for! Our wedding was flawless, a perfect wedding! I will always remember how special our day was thanks to their staff.
If you want two amazing people to work with you will want to book John and Nicky from John Charles Studio 93 to shoot your wedding! John and Nicky have amazing personalities! Their positive energy makes your photo shoot seem like fun and less work. They are very artistic and professional! Their visions turn out absolutely beautiful in photographs! If you want spectacular pictures that are professional and capture the moments of your special event I highly recommend Studio 93.
Dorothy's Floral came highly recommended to me by word of mouth and I would like to highly recommend her to anyone else needing a florist. Her flowers exceed any expectation! I couldn't believe how beautiful my flowers turned out! They were absolutely beautiful! Not only is Dorothy a talented artist, but she is a kind and professional person to work with. She will work with any budget and provide unique ideas. You will be pleased to work with her. She is fantastic!
Confection with no doubt makes the best wedding cake you will ever taste in Kalamazoo. My maid of honor and I found Confection through the Rose Street Market Bridal Show in Kalamazoo. Their cakes are smooth as silk in your mouth leaving you to savor every natural ingredient they bake in the cake. The only thing I would like to see improved is communication. I called to ask about my cake several times: It was hard to get through to someone to answer my questions and I was put on hold once for over 10 minutes and forgotten. After my wedding I called to make sure I had all the cake parts to return, since I've never been married and I don't know what these items look like or how many items I needed to look for to return. I wanted to make sure I had everything before returning to my home town, which is over an hour and a half away. The young lady I talked to didn't know, and maybe it's not her job, but as much as we spent on the cake it would've been nice of her to check with someone. Once I got to Confection the same girl said the same thing and although it wasn't busy she didn't bother to ask anyone and walked away from me although I still wasn't sure if what I was dropping off was all of the parts needed. The shop wasn't busy and I felt her service was very poor. Confection cake is wonderful to taste and the decorations were nice. The tasting that Giti provided was amazing. During the tastings after clients pay for their cakes please show them the parts so that they know what needs to be returned even if it is on the invoice, visuals are nice. : ) Confection wedding cake is the cake you want if you want your guest to remember an amazingly tasty cake! Confection responded with the the following comments: We greatly appreciate all wedding wire reviews and are very interested in feedback from our brides. We appreciate this bride letting us know of her customer service experience. In response, we have made changes to our procedures. Now, each bride receives a printout which lists the items that are returnable and instructions on how and when to return them. This printout is also delivered with the cake, to assist the reception staff in knowing which items to reserve and give to the family member responsible for the return.
Because we also operate a cafe in addition to the bakery, it is sometimes difficult for our customers to know who is on the wedding team and who is not. We are now in the process of moving our wedding cake bakery to a separate location in Kalamazoo, so that it is easier for brides to access us and so that each person who waits on a bride is part of the wedding team and trained to assist. The person who waited on this bride is no longer a member of the Confection team. Our goal is to provide the utmost in customer satisfaction, and we are dedicated to continual improvement in order to meet the needs of our brides. Again, we thank this bride for taking the time to provide feedback to us regarding her experience with Confection!
My dress was beautiful and well worth the price. I like the fact that DB is almost everywhere since my bridesmaids were from several states in the US. This made it easy for all of them to get fitted and purchase their dress. I suppose you pay for what you get, the service wasn't so great but I can over look that since I'm done finding a dress.

Monte Janssen is the DJ you want if you want the best ceremony and reception ever! Monte works very well with his clients to ensure that your ceremony and reception go as smoothly as possible. Our wedding was absolutely amazing! Monte kept the crowd interested without being corny. When it was time to go our dance floor was so packed I don't think our guest wanted to leave! And that's the kind of memory you want!
Our wedding invitations were gorgeous! Pat provided superb service. She has the knowledge to help any bride find her dream invitations. After finding our invitations Pat helped me understand how they are to be packaged and addressed. Without her help I would have been lost. I truly appreciated her expertise, professionalism, and artistic view.

I love the service in Sephora! When I went to the mall I was in search of finding eye shadow for my wedding day. My initial idea was to buy from the MAC counter in Macy's. As I approached the MAC counter the sales associate asked if I needed help. I told her I was looking for eye shadow for my wedding day and that I wasn't sure what I wanted. She said to me, "Well come back when you know what you want and I will help you." With that I decided that I would try somewhere else and I knew Sephora would have many options to chose from. When I went in the associate asked if I needed help. I explained my situation. Immediately the she asked if I had some time, and I did. She sat me in a chair and we played with eye shadow. Her service was so amazing she moved from eyes to whole face! Before I knew it I looked incredible! She had me hooked so I bought it all! It was the best $500 I ever spent on make-up! Everyone at my wedding said how wonderful my make-up looked, since it looked so natural and flawless. My photographer couldn't believe how beautiful it was and said that the make-up the sales associate helped me pick out was the best there was for photography. Nobody wants cake face and my face looked fresh and almost make-up free. My eyes were lightly smokey just like I wanted them and all the make-up was waterproof so I didn't loose my look when I teared up seeing my handsome husband at the end of the aisle. My face never became shiny and my make-up lasted all night long! Thank you Sephora for being so extraordinary and finding the products that worked with my skin. I will never forget feeling like the prettiest bride.
Exceptional service and quality jewelry! The associates working at Medawar work with their clients to find exactly what you want. Also worth mentioning is their repair service, it is also very good. Before my wedding Medawar cleaned my ring and it sparkled like it did when I first received it.
