oh....mi...god..... the wedding cake was soooo good! My husband Todd was laughing at me afterwards; he said that my eyes were bugging out of my head when he fed me that first piece of the wedding cake. It was soooo good, I couldn't believe it. It was sweet, but not too sweet, and had such a rich flavor to it. Really special place; you can't go wrong with Classic Cakes!

George played for our wedding in the spring of 2009, and was absolutely terrific! I'd heard about him through a friend who had heard him play at her friend's wedding. He replied promptly to my email, and he sent a contract later the same day. He coordinated with the organist, which was tricky, because having a trumpet at my wedding was a surprise for my husband (he used to play trumpet in college), so we asked George and the organist at the church to be discreet before the service (so Todd wouldn't know that he'd hear a trumpet announcing my entrance.)
The fanfare was really awesome; it gave me chills! My mother said that the solo he played during the service brought tears to her eyes (something by Bach, can't remember what it was anymore!)
My only regret was that we didn't have George hire a second trumpeter for our wedding (that's what my friend's friend had at her wedding, and it really made an impression.) But anyway, I'm SOO glad that we hired an instrumentalist to play at our wedding, instead of only having an organist. And I'm REALLY glad we hired George!! He was professional, on time, and sounded great!!
