I can't recommend lil' Miss Cupcake enough; Becca (the fabulous owner) provided cupcakes for our wedding and they were a huge hit. We originally hired lil' Miss Cupcake because of her completely reasonble prices and after our tasting we knew we made the right choice. Becca was incredibly flexible with us as we planned out Grand Rapids wedding from out of town, meeting us wherever was easy for us and allowing me to do most of our communication via e-mail. She was also able to happily accomodate all of my requests, from special colored wrappers to specifically piped icing and flavors. The beautiful cupcake display we had our wedding day was exactly as requested; we couldn't have been happier. Of course, besides being an incredibly easy vendor to work with, the product was delicious! Dense, moist cake and delicious butter cream frosting; easily the best wedding dessert I've ever had!

I made a last minute decision to hire Julie as my make-up artist for my wedding and was so glad that I did. She happily scheduled a last minute make-up trial with me and didn't mind coming to my hotel the morning of my wedding even though only myself and my mother were getting our make-up done. When I had a horrible skin reaction to a waxing a few days prior to my wedding, Julie quickly responded to my crisis email with some suggestions to minimize redness and irritation and on the day of my wedding was able to cover completely any remaining problems; something I know I couldn't have done on my own. I was so glad I had spent the money to hire someone to do my make-up, I can't imagine what would have happened had I had to deal with irritated skin by myself. Julie was also able to work with my mom who was going through chemotherapy during my wedding to make her look beautiful and restore the lashes and brows she lost during treatment; if they didn't already know, no one at our wedding had any idea my mom was in treatment, which made her able to enjoy the day more thoroughly. I really think every bride should treat herself to looking beautiful on her wedding day; Julie is incredibly talented and really understands how to make a bride look like herself but better, and make it last through a full night of dancing!

We hired Aletha of Pearls Events to serve as our day of coordinator; and I really wish we would have hired her to provide even more services at our wedding, she was truly an outstanding vendor. Although our wedding day went very smoothly, she and her interns were invaluable sets of hands throughout the day. They took care of details (small and large) I couldn't have planned for, anticipated my needs in ways only experienced wedding professionals could, and worked seemlessly with my other vendors to ensure the day went as planned. All of this was done with professionalism and cheerfulness that amazed me, my family, our guests. Although initially hestitant about needing a coordinator, it was one of the best decisions we made in the planning process. Having someone with you to make sure you can enjoy your wedding day to the fullest extent is a gift every bride should give herself!
