OUTSTANDING!!!!! ACCOMMODATING is an understatement! CUSTOMER SERVICE unbeatable! next to Disney World, i cannot think of a place i have been treated more kindly! One of our guests said "This is like a hollywood production!" The walkie talkies i think sealed that vision! From the first visit to the last moments of our wedding reception, ALL zoo staff members made it a point to ensure our wedding day was picture perfect..and it was! The food is delicious: made with insight, design and talent! The venue is unique and beautiful with many great photo ops! Many of our guests were completely impressed with our wedding and were so excited to say they went to a wedding at the zoo!! Many had no idea what to expect and they were pleasantly surprised! I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to create a memorable day for themselves and guests alike! and i cannot say enough about the exceptional service we received from EVERY STAFF PERSON we came in contact with while planning this special day! From the wedding coordinators, to the catering staff adn special events staff, and zookeepers and shuttle drivers and bartenders....my hat is off to you all!! You are such wonderful people to work with on such a special ocassion and we cannot thank you all enough for helping us create this day! If you want to be relaxed and have every detail thought of for you on the day of your wedding, the Brookfield Zoo is the place to be ladies and gents!!! No joke, we were amazed, our guests were thrilled, and my parents felt it was worth every penny!!! From a black tie event to a small casual outdoor or indoor wedding, the zoo will work diligently with you to create the day you want! THANK YOU KATHY S, ANDRES and many other zoo staff member i cannot even remember your names but you all were so wonderful and made this day so enjoyable!! And a special thank you to the funny and always amazing Great Apes and animals in tropic world, the hippo was a hit! We love all you creatures!
An ARTIST, a FRIEND and a wonderully TALENTED photographer! Dayna's abilities are apparent in her determination to capture the moment, detail by detail with an eye for color and artistry...all the while blending into your wedding day! She was like a little hummingbird, buzzin all over the reception and ceremony, quietly and working hard to make it just a perfectly captured day! Dayna and her assistant work tirelessly to gather as many photos of our wedding day as possible. Many guests commented on how, they "never saw the camera away from her eye!" You will get true quality, professional service, kindness and a incredible photo album to remember your day thru the eyes of a true artist. Quality is guaranteed with this gal! The perfect touch to the perfect day!!! Working with Christine and her wonderful staff to piece together the finishing touches for the ceremony and reception was a treat! I knew our wedding flowers were in good hands. I had a rough idea of what I was looking for in terms of centerpieces and ceremony arrangements, but with Christine's expertise, she made the final product, more than i could have ever imagined! Her flower shop is friendly, warm and inviting. In being a client of this shop's and a family friend, for quite a few years, I know Christine's flowers are fresh, bright, and each event is decorated with pride and trust! Christine is an accommodating, sincere, and experienced florist with an artistic eye to add just the right amount of color, class and beauty to any wedding or occasion regardless of size or budget! Christine will create the look you want and is a joy to work with and share any special event with!! MOVE OVER MARTHA STEWART!!!!!
Chinese food is wonderful!!! We all know, but the cakes are even more delicious....if you can believe it! The master of the perfect sponge cake is made by this bakery! 65 has created cakes for numerous family events: birthdays, baptisms, showers, Easter etc and never once have i had a piece i didn't like! In terms of WEDDING CAKE, hands down, the lightest, most artistic, and fresh and delicious treat you can serve to polish off a great wedding dinner. Not heavy or too sweet, and can be a cheesecake or filled with fresh fruit. The frosting is a light coolwhip like frosting, perfect compliment to the light cake. Our wedding cake was gorgeous, tasty and beautiful and we ate it the next day!! All our guests couldn't say enough what a refreshing cake and dessert this was! Louis Hong is a great person to work with and will do what it takes to ensure you have a work of art that taste's like a slice of heaven! Thank you 65!!!!!!!
They have some great staff people!!! Allison was a sweet heart from day 1, an honest keeper in that place. The seamstress, Theresa is a doll also. IF it was not for Allison and Theresa i would not have many very nice comments to say about this store. My experience started out wonderfully, with complete satisfaction. The salesperson, found a dress for me that was incredible and she worked diligently to find.. "the dress." and she did. I am sorry to say, i did forget her name, but i am grateful for her help! After that, service went somewhat just down hill. and NOT because of Allison or Theresa, but management and the front desk staff. The front desk staff can seem cold and snotty, and not very welcoming at all. The store has a great selection of dresses for moms, brides, bridesmaids, but the hours are restricted. Appointments for tailoring were complicated to squeeze into a working schedule and the alterations are not allowed to begin before 6 weeks....so needless to say, my dress was done, 2 days prior to my wedding day. which made me unhappy since i had worked hard all summer to ensure my last week before the wedding was worry free. these alterations made me very nervous and for a major part of such a big day, and a large expense too. I had to go back for alterations multiple times, which i knew would happen, but i was shot down when i asked back in june to start the altering process early to avoid a last minute issue such as the one i had. Go there, see the dresses, jewlery and veils and find a good tailor elsewhere if this place is far from your home.
Just wanted to THANK YOU, so much for the GREAT job you did deejaying our ceremony and wedding this past saturday at the Brookfield Zoo! Many of our guests were so happy with the choices of music during dinner and dancing! A great variety that only improved as the night went on! Adam and I especially appreciated the perfection of the ceremony music from Prelude to Recessional! Your timing of songs and timing were outstanding and you helped us create the ceremony we wanted, with ease and experience! Some were skeptical of our ceremony music selections, but realized they were ideal for me and adam and made for a beautiful wedding indeed! Many of our friends enjoyed the 80's dance tunes you packed together one after another, because when we all were younger we would go to a club in Milwaukee for 80's night and dance till the early morning hours. Many of those songs were played at the wedding and brought back many fun fun memories for us! Your personality, enthusiasm, insight and hard work will not be forgotten and we just truly appreciate all you helped us create and enjoy! The music selections made many many generations happy and everyone had a song or two, if not more they enjoyed dancing and singing along too, so thank you again and again!
