Valle Vista Golf Club and Conference Center Greenwood, Indiana
All in all, Valle Vista turned out to be a good venue for our ceremony/reception.
It got dark early, so our ceremony on the veranda was beautifully lit up by the fica tree lights. I loved that!
Our reception went well, I loved having the Eastview Room. It was a lot less cramped than if we'd gone with Grandview (downstairs). They set it up almost exactly as we'd discussed. Tear down was also a breeze, my family appreciated that part!!
The one thing we were upset about was our open bar. We had paid for 4 hours of full service for our guests. However, they ran out of Miller light about halfway through the night. That was a little disappointing, as we'd been reassured that doesn't happen.
Other than that, it was a great time!! Food was delicious, the service staff was beyond professional, and our wedding coordinator (Mindy) was so helpful!!
Randy Baughn and his wife are incredibly talented and professional. They were with us from our morning manis/pedis, to our end-of-the-night send off. They even set up a laptop at the reception, showcasing all of the photos from throughout the day. I can't begin to count the compliments we received on these! Our guests enjoyed being about to see those, and thought they photography was just breathtaking.
I couldn't have found a better florist! Kathy and her staff are so easy to work with. Phone calls and email inquiries were always promptly answered. They took my ideas and created them better than even I could! The price was phenomenal, and they worked well with our venue and arranging the set-up (ceremony and reception @ Valle Vista Golf Club). The bouquets turned out PERFECT!!
Paige is very talented in the wedding cake department. Our cake was exactly as we had ordered, and it was lovely as expected. She did a great job! We added an extra sheet cake, it was slightly too done...but we didn't want to be too picky. All in all, the cake tasted great, the design was exactly as discussed, and she was doll to work with. I highly recommend her!
They have a decent-sized selection in stock. They only drawback is they limit you to trying on 5 dresses per appointment. Good thing I found the one during the first visit.
GTI Sound gave us a good deal, for booking an off-season event. Our DJ was Dee, and he was extremely professional and played great music fitting to our crowd. At some points, it took a day or two to get an email/phone response. Other than that, everything went well.
(Word of advice...add the extra lighting for $75! Definitely worth it, it made our reception that much better.)

Melissa is FANTASTIC! I highly recommend her as a professional make-up artist. Her list of credentials speaks for itself. She is extremely talented, experienced and professional. Our wedding photos look great, she did an incredible job on the makeup for myself and my bridal party.
Great place to find unique wedding rings at a good price. My center stone is beyond breathtaking, I always get such great compliments on its brilliancy. Definitely check them out on the northside. Their staff members are helpful, yet not too pushy.
