Im Heather!! lol. Im a fun-loving, mellow kind of person. I can be kind of shy when I first meet someone, but once I get to know you I'l never be shy again. I love animals, and whenever someone finds one who needs help, is abandoned, or hurt, I usually take them in. I am engaged to the most amazing guy on earth. Rants
everythings so expensive! and were so broke! kinda wish i would have not sent out save the dates... and eloped! lol
Raves planning and picturing everything in my head has been so much fun. its all i do now! but the best part, imagining what its going to be like to live with my fh as my husband, and to really start our lives together. <3
We met through a double date when we were still dating our ex's. His girlfriend broke up with him a few months after we met, and then I broke up with my boyfriend about a year later. By then, my fh and I were best friends. We were not looking to take our relationship to the next level. In fact, we would joke, hey when you find someone, I have to approve. After my first breakup, I prayed, "God PLEASE keep guys away from me. I don't want to hook up, I don't want boyfriends, I don't want to even look at a guy in that way until it's the one you want me to marry." So shortly after that, I fell in love with my best friend. I tried to deny it at first, but when he told me that God had showed him that we were supposed to be together, just like he had shown me... There was no turning back. We've now been together for almost a year and I never thought love was actually like this. I'm glad I was mistaken<3
The Ring
He actually went on a missions trip to Guatemala this past summer and he was gonna be gone for 10 days. Long time for two people who haven't spent much time apart in months. So while he was there, he was praying about when he should ask me to marry him. God said, now. Lol. So he bought a ring in Guatemala and proposed to me in the airport right when he got home! It's a yellow gold ring. Very simple, pretty small, with one diamond in the middle. It's perfect for me. All those big, flashy rings are nice for other people, but ugly to me. I hate flashy. lol
Our Wedding Plans
Our old plans for the wedding read almost like I was daydreaming... Because it's not happening that way at all. We've got 9 months left, with no place to have the wedding, no money to rent a place, and no idea what's going to happen. But praying together every day, and trusting in God to make things happen with this with the least amount of stress possible...
Our Planning Experience
So far planning has been nothing but fun. I probably spend way too much time on it, but it's making me happy right now so thats fine. Lol. I've made my own guest book from a scrapbook, so I can turn it into our wedding album later. I've made our centerpieces with mirrors, glasses, blue stones, tea lights, and blue irises. I've designed and sent out our save-the-dates, and I'm about to finalize the guest list. I also found my dress the other day and I'm so excited! Now it's time to make my veil, find some shoes, and find some cake stands for the 3 cakes I'll be baking myself. Lol. Love itttt!

If you believe, you will succeed... this is what I always say. So believe in yourself, write and submit.. rejection notices are a blessing because it gives you something to learn from.. always remember that... If you have anything you want to share, I would be happy to read it.

Yes, I am a published author and have a tendancy to get carried away with writing in story format. lol... My 2nd book is on it's way to being published and my 3rd book idea has now developed.. wahooo... all of this around planning a wedding. Do you plan to be a writer by profession?
