Throughout our planning process, both my (now) husband and I admitted that Brian Ray was the only vendor with which we had no concerns or hesitations. If fact, after when we first met Brian last June, we immediately cancelled our other two photography appointments that week and booked him. Brian did both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures, and we simply could not be happier with how they all turned out! Brian is very personable and easy to work with. Everyone (guests and members of the wedding party) mentioned how he was so polite and easy to work with. He makes you feel comfortable, which makes pictures turn out so much more natural looking! He takes an ordinary shot and makes it extraordinary! We have gotten endless compliments on our wedding pictures. Again, we could not be more pleased. Brian was extremely reliable and unbelievably efficient. He had our engagement pictures on a personalized CD within 24 hours, and he went out of his way to drop them off at my work! Our wedding pictures were available online within a week and the CD was in our hands in just over a week. I would highly recommmend Brian to anyone...pictures are the only thing you can keep after the wedding is all said and done. You will not be disappointed with his work or with his service!! We had a rough start with Homestead due to circumstances outside of their control. Julie Johnson took over our account only weeks before the wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was just the way I wanted. The flowers were beautiful, and she matched them perfectly to the pictures and colors I had (quite vaguely) described. She was quick to respond to e-mails and accommodated to my changes as well. Beautiful work, friendly staff, and a great value for the cost!
Well...I swore I would never use David's Bridal and I did! After being very unsuccessful at several small bridal boutiques, we ended up at David's. Surprisingly, I found one of the very few dresses I liked there! The woman who helped us was much more personable than many of the ladies at the other shops. I LOVED my dress and got so many compliments on it the day of. I don't think anyone would have ever guessed it was from David's! We also got the bridesmaid dresses there. It was a new style they had, so very up to date. I'm sure it was selling for three times the price elsewhere. Having stores nationwide made it easy for me to go with David's. (I had bridesmaids in California, Iowa, Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin!) I also had alterations done with them, and the dress fit absolutely perfectly. David's can often be busy, and you won't get the "feel" of a small bridal boutique, but when you're saving hundreds to thousands of dollars, you can overlook these small things.
Michael did a great job at our wedding! After we left the reception, we both mentioned how we had hardly even noticed him during the evening...in a good way! We had given him a vague idea of music, along with only a few songs we really wanted him to play. He went running with those ideas and made a perfect playlist for our wedding. He got the guests dancing (even those who "don't dance") without being pushy or obnoxious. Throughout the planning process, Michael was easy to contact and readily available to answer questions and help us out with picking songs for our special dances. Especially in the weeks leading up to our wedding, he called on a regular basis to check in, confirm pronunciation of names, etc. He was very attentive to our needs and desires, and thus we were very happy with his service. I would highly recommend Michael...you won't be disappointed.
Well, honestly, they did exactly what they promised they would, so I have nothing to complain about! Delivery was on time, and the linens and glasses were beautiful. We did order napkins that did not come...I didn't even notice, but my friend (wedding planner) did. When she called them, they immediately credited my account for them. I also requested invoices a couple times (because I kept losing mine!) and they sent them immediately to me. They were very polite and professional. We did get to their warehouse at one point and they were extremely patient with me as I tried to pick colors, etc. Also gave great advice. I would recommend them for their reliable service and their excellent communication. No regrets!
