What can I say about Ryan and Erika, the 2 photographers behind Rowell Photography?! They were BEYOND our wildest expectations! The pictures were breathtaking and they were sooo much fun! They shot our wedding, as thier first destination wedding, and let me tell you--you would be LUCKY to have them shoot yours. The price was right, the pictures were gorgeous, and i seriously barely noticed them around and about when we were there. So talented and so professional--i couldn't believe how lucky we were to have chosen them. HIGHLY recommended!!! I would book with them for double, what we paid, and they would be worth every penny! You will not be sorry!
They did my bouquets and my table centerpieces, both of which were amazing! They are worth every cent! If you are anywhere near the Indiana area, check them out. They followed the exact pictures of what i wanted, and the table decorations couldn't have come out any better!
I went to a trunk show at Ann's. I went to look at bridesmaid dresses ONLY and ended up trying on bridal dresses and fell in love with the one that i tried on. I live here in Washington, DC and my mom and sisters live no where near here. I asked if I could snap a pix of me in the dress to send to them, right then, while I was still there, since they were missing the experience. I wasn't taking photographs of it or anything, or taking them with me, just a simple camera phone pix to send to my mom and sisters, before I shelled $1,300 for it.
She wouldn't let me and had no sympathy for the fact that I was shopping alone for my wedding dress and really wishing that my mom and sisters were there. She said "only if you buy it, can you take a pix of it!"
I told her I was just looking at the dresses and she rudely came back with "YOu don't come and look on a trunk show day... you come and buy on a trunk show day!"
I felt her prices were a little inflated and i purchased a colored belt to go with mine, and it came in the wrong color, she said it was "close enough".
The altertations quote that she gave me was OUTRAEGOUS!!! I just needed it bustled (there wasn't one already) and a little work done on the top of bodice and she quoted me over $200...
Wouldn't go back.. (she was the closest Watters and Watters carrier around)

Did a GREAT job!!! We had a very specific dance list (that had a lot of criteria becuase of certain family members) and he was SPOT ON! He played exactly the types we wanted and nothing more. The ceremony sound was perfect too, and he barely did any run-throughs with the ceremony muscians. He just knew his stuff!
Highly recommended... he travels anywhere in the FL area, or abroad, if you can get a hold of your own speakers. (that's what we had to do)..
Luxe "planned" our destination wedding in the Dominican Republic. They were pricey and didn't really help me at all in the planning process. They screwup tons of the vouchers for our people and our guests were constantly complaining that they couldn't get a hold or our group coordinator.
Not helpful. When we returned home, we sent the president an e-mail outlining all our frustrations, and asked for a refund of 1/2 of our fee, since we only received about 1/2 of the services that we were supposed to get, and got nothing. They wanted to give us a gift certificate! Why would we need a gift cert. for a company who plans destination wedding! We're ALREADY married!!!
