Our Story

Josh and I actually go way back. We met when I was 13 and he was 15 through mutual friends. Considering that was forever ago we don't actually remember the first time we met. We dated on and off through out high school and then lost contact. Then in April 2008 we reconnected through a mutual friend. Steve, our friend, beeped me to see if I wanted to go ride bikes and mentioned the word us. When I asked who us was he said "Oh Josh is with me." So naturally I got all excited and told him to meet me at my friends house and that I would ride with them for a little bit. Well long story short Josh asked if we could give it another try and of course I said yes. We made it official in May and he proposed in December. I always felt like he was the one who kept getting away, but like they say, if you set him free and he comes back then it was meant to be :-). Now I don't ever have to worry about him getting away every again!

Our Wedding Plans

We both love the colors black and blue so our entire wedding is based on those colors and stars. We are going for a lot of bling and a lot of light effects. The guest list consists of about 25-30 family and a few friends for the ceremony and 200 people for the reception. The ceremony is taking place at my grandparents house out in the country in front of their flower garden and the reception is taking place at a banquet hall in the next town. The flowers are manly consisting of chrysanthemums and roses, at least for now that is what they are. There are 3 BM and 3 GM. The first of the year is when we get to actually start booking the cake, caterer, etc and we couldn't be more excited to get started with the planning.
