Chris was amazing! He was extremely flexible, highly professional, and had a great attitude the entire 8 hours he was with us. He didn't miss one aspect of our wedding. The photos were beautiful. We received complements about them for days and days after the wedding. He catches things with the camera that only a professional could possibly do.
Thuy was very professional and patient as I changed my mind many times throughout the planning process :) She offered lots of great ideas and had a great attitude. She also offered lots of ideas that helped me stay within my budget! My bouquet turned out gorgeous and so did the Bridesmaid's bouquets. They were PERFECT! She also gave me a complimentary toss bouquet which was very nice. A few items were different from what I envisioned, such as the paper lanterns were a different size than what I had wanted and the ribbon in the church was tied differently than I had wanted. I probably should have double checked with her and sent photos before the event- but I got so busy with all the other planning. All in all, she did a great job!
YUM! Our cake was delicious. We tried many, many vendors in the Charleston area and Tammy's was by far the best tasting. My husband was very picky at all the tastings, nothing was moist enough or had enough flavor- UNTIL we tried Tammy's cake. It was soooo moist and tasty.
For our cake we choose two layers of chocolate with raspberry filling, and two layers of almond with Italian buttercream filling. Our guests raved about how delicious it was. The next day my dad said it was, hands down, THE best wedding cake he had ever tasted. :) I agree with him.
Plus, it was beautiful. When I met Tammy I really had no idea what design I wanted in a cake. She was extremely helpful giving me ideas and using photos I sent to her to create an amazingly gorgeous cake. It was exactly what I wanted.
Our first encounter did not go so well as the sales person informed us 'No one would look at our invitations anyway- they would just go into the trash as soon as it was read'. Oh, and she said, numerous times, this is such a SMALL part of the planning process and not to spend so much time on it. We were grateful when a new sales person came to relieve this lady so she could go to lunch. I wish I could remember the new girl's name, but she was VERY helpful. We ordered from Embossed Graphics and they turned out beautiful. The new girl gave us plenty of ideas and was very knowledgeable of all the correct etiquette, etc. We wanted our invites to be special, a first glimpse into our special day- NOT something people would just 'throw away'. We went with a thick ecru card with a modern large-print. We received many complements on the invite. They were beautiful! But, we definitely ordered too many...

Our driver was so great. Very pleasant, on time, great driving. We were a little late getting into the cab, as our photos took longer than normal (of course!). It was very hot outside, yet the driver just waited for us, holding the door open with a smile. He was very polite. We loved all the room in the back- perfect for a big wedding dress! When you shop around for wedding transportation, it can get very expensive. For the price and quality, nothing beats the Black Cab! They are beautiful and classic, and look wonderful in photos. :)
