Duxbury went to jail a few months before my wedding. So they had to change the name to Simply Elegant, and the place changed ownership! The staff for the most part was good, the food was good, the bartender excellent. However, the lead server came to me at the end of the night and handed me all the linens in trash bags and told me that because I didn't rent them through them it was my responsibility to take them home! The lady was SO rude, there I was in my wedding dress, most of the guests had already left, so I had to quickly find someone to take them. Not a nice surprise.

You just can't find a cheaper cake. WE got a 5 tier cake that serves 250 for $500, and that included flowers! The cake is excellent with great fillings. The only thing you have to be careful of is...they can be a little tacky. I wanted green hydrangea on my cake; I took in a picture and said if they couldn't get green hydrangea I wanted just white roses. I was mortified when I got to the reception and saw that the cake had died green hydrangeas on it! It looked so tacky!

We got the bridesmaids dresses and tuxes at the temple city location. They dresses were about $120/ea less than any other place I called. Everything came ini on time, and the tuxes were great! Just don't go there expecting a fancy little bridal shop.

This band is so great! They are pricey, but the dance floor was packed all night long. Because they play pretty much anything, they got a feel really fast for what people were dancing to and played that.
