I like to believe that I am an organized person, since all my friends lean on me when it comes to event planning. So when we decided to have an outdoor ceremony at Wrigley Square in Millennium Park, I knew a day of coordinator (DOC) was a requirement. I, like most brides relied on wedding sites and internet for reviews on vendors. I met a couple of DOC, all of which had great reviews on the internet and loved all of them. I had a few criteria's that I looked for in a DOC. The most important one was, if they have ever organized a wedding at Millennium Park. One of the other DOC did, however, Cindy did not, at least not at that time. Going into our meeting, I thought I knew who I was going to go with, however, once I met with Cindy I wasn't too sure anymore. Even though Cindy did not have the experience with planning an event at Millennium Park, she had many experiences under her belt and I was very comfortable with her.

Hiring Cindy was the best decision and worth every penny. People always say that something will fall through the cracks, which was the main reason we wanted to hire a DOC. Cindy was easy to work with, creative, professional, detailed oriented, responsive, organized and most importantly, she had your best interest at heart. When we met up to do a walk through of the venues, we thought we came prepared with everything, our contracts, important phone numbers, etc. Boy were we wrong, Cindy thought of things that didn't even cross our minds and her attention to all the details of the wedding ceremony and reception venue was just unbelievable. She gave great advice and helped us with selecting our photographer to program ideas. Every time I would stress about something, she would put me at ease.

On the day of our wedding, there were quite a few issues. The ceremony started late because my family was stuck in traffic. Cindy continued to check on the status of their whereabouts and she still kept the whole wedding party on schedule. At the reception, the chair cover vendors ran late and therefore, the tables couldn't be set up. Cindy jumped right in and helped organized the chairs, menus, name cards, making sure everything was set up as planned. I remember my sister-in-law telling me that there was a table that was missing a couple of chairs. I ask Cindy if we could add some additional chairs and as soon as I turned around it was already taken care of. I am sure there were more issues that I didn't even know about because she took care of them unnoticeably.

I can't thank Cindy enough for making our day so special and stress-free.
