Although Disneyland Fairytale Weddings can be more pricey than at other venues - the quality of everything was spectacular! From the moment we arrived, a VIP coordinator met us and made sure everything was running smoothly. Our wedding planner - Traci - and day-of-coordinator - Herta - were both phenomenal, made the whole wedding weekend run like clockwork, calmed our anxieties, and allowed us to enjoy the magic of getting married at Disneyland. Plus - there were so many unexpected touches: our room at the Grand Californian Hotel was filled with balloons a day before our wedding, and strewn with rose petals on our wedding night. Disney even arranged a private fireworks viewing for us on our very own Storybook Canal Boat after our wedding reception. The other services we used Disney for - catering (everyone raved!), cake (perfect recreation of my inspiration photo, with hidden Mickey twist), DJ (followed our "play" and "do not play" lists to a t), string trio (even was able to play our request from "Ratatouille") and venue (the Rose Court Garden and Sleeping Beauty Pavilion) were all out of this world. We truly couldn't be happier, or have had a better experience!
We had a terrific experience working with Tricia. We had a very lengthy consultation where she listened to all of my ideas and wants regarding flowers and offered suggestions on what would be best for the season and budget. When the ranunculus that we'd originally planned to have as centerpieces were too small, Tricia came up with the idea of having gorgeous tulips in the same colors and we and our guests loved them! On the day of our wedding, Tricia and her assistant were punctual and professional - and the flowers were drop-dead gorgeous. Our daisy, rose, and tulips bouquets were lovely, the daisy garland in the gazebo was beautiful, and the special touches - putting individual daisies in the hedges and rose cones, were wonderful. The only floral aspect that didn't work out were the bouts - the tiny tomasina daisies melted in the sun. Oh well! Overall, she was wonderful to work with and really stretched our (small) budget to the max!
I had a great experience with Vows! About a year before my wedding, I visited my mom on the East Coast and we spent a whirlwind weekend going to a bunch of bridal stores in and around Boston. Well, when we went into Vows, I had a feeling it was where I'd find my dress. There were so many to choose from, from every designer imaginable, in every style, and most were in my price range of $3,000 or below. I found my beautiful Carolina Herrera ballgown, with a tulle skirt patterned with daisies, silk ribbons, and strapless modified sweetheart neckline, and a bow in the back, and immediately fell in love. It was $1,500 (for an originally $8,000 dress). Although I had to get it altered to fit me back home in San Francisco, it arrived in perfect condition and I was very happy with the way the saleswoman treated me and my mom at Vows. I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great, less-frills, less-anxiety, more choices and more affordable, place to find a wedding dress.
We paid about $5 per invite for lush, gorgeous, multi-colored three-layer thick invitations with envelopes, response cards and small envelopes, and we were amazed at how lovely they turned out! Inkylivie processed our order quickly, made no mistakes, and delivered beautiful invitations to us in no time. She also was able to make more invitations for us in a short amount of time when we needed them. All of our guests raved about how unusual and dazzling our invitations were, and how they fit our theme of a rose garden wedding perfectly.

Terri was a hoot! We met her for our first appointment on her boat, and she asked us many questions to get a sense of who we are as a couple. She has a great template to design the wedding ceremony around, and knows lots of interesting traditions to incorporate (we choose handfasting). Her services are also very affordably priced. While there were a couple snafus when she performed our ceremony (she had my parents "give me away," instead of just hug me and put my hand in his; she asked if anyone knew any reason why we should not be married, something we had expressly asked her not to do), for the most part she did an excellent job. One part of her words we still apply is when she said "whenever you see a gazebo, remember your wedding day, say "I love you" and kiss one another" - and we always do!
