The venue is amazing, 2 stories, huge brick patio, and plenty of seating. Already had a dance floor, DJ booth and some cool up lighting.
Sean and Jim (the owners) were amazing, helping us decide which food to serve, what drinks to offer and making the event run smoothly.
The food was the highlight of the event – huge shrimp, awesome crab cakes, killer Kobe Beef sliders, an amazing fruit/cheese display and much much more! Everyone raved about the food and are still talking about it, 3 weeks later.
They provide such an upscale venue, catering and service and the price was so reasonable! If you haven’t selected a venue, please see this one as you may never look back! We found it and decided the very same day to book it – it was very cosmo, urban and clubby feeling!
The Cake Guys did an amazing job on both the bridal cake and the groom’s cake.
The design for the bridal cake was extremely different than anything we’d seen before, and after merely showing them a similar picture and describing it, they created it perfectly!
The groom’s cake was loaded with chocolate and there wasn’t a single bite left. The bride’s cake was white with strawberry crème filling on one layer and white with amaretto crème on the other layer – both were amazingly moist and delicious.
We’re still getting compliments on the cakes and the slices were HUGE!
We met Melody and immediately LOVED her – she’s hip, fun and really gets to know you and your guests so she puts on the best show possible. She picked our ‘garter pull’ song and it was hysterical, as neither of us (nor our guests) had ever heard it before, but it was the perfect fit! She timed everything beautifully and really interacted with the crowd.
People are still asking who was the girl who got the parents dancing the Time Warp?
She was engaging, handled some other electricity/microphone issues for us, and really rocked the crowd. If someone wanted to do a dance but didn’t know how, she got on the floor and showed them the steps- people loved her level of energy and involvement!
These folks supplied the inflated, lit-up cones we used for décor at the ceremony.
They were prompt, professional, and price-friendly and the delivery gent even helped with additional lighting issues that popped up with another lighting display of ours at the last minute.
The cones were a great hit – STUNNING in real life and I can’t wait to see the pictures!
