although i had planned on having a beautiful outdoor garden wedding, of course it rained on our wedding day. so instead, i had a beautiful outdoor wedding, under tents! dunaway gardens is an absolutely beautiful place to get married, even under their permanent tents where the reception is normally held. everyone that works there is very professional and friendly. i had so many things go wrong on my wedding day, but once we got to dunaway and candace was there, she is their coordinator, she made sure everything went smoothly. once my flowers arrived (15 mins. after ceremony was to begin), candace worked her magic and made the night perfect. dunaway offers fantastic photo ops and a great cottage for the girls to use before the wedding begins. it's very easy to get to, although you'll probably drive past it the first time. even though it rained, everyone made sure that we got where we needed without getting wet. they have covered golf carts, and the entire tent area, and the walkway between the tents is covered. it is very beautifully lit at night with the trees and tents lit up with rope lighting. just know that your dress will get dirty! even with the rain, the backup plan with the tents was great. you still get the outdoor feeling and it is just as intimate and beautiful as it would be outside in the garden.
alan ross is fantastic! he was so accommodating, friendly, patient, and professional. he is a great communicator, and he will contact you in whichever way is easiest. unfortunately, i never met him face to face until our rehearsal dinner, because my schedule just did not allow it, but he was great. he e-mailed me any time i had a question or a request. he had many great suggestions and he helped me out a lot. he is pretty much the coordinator for the reception. he also does this great thing called the love story. you and your groom both write separate stories and he intertwines them and creates your own love story. i really wasn't sure how that was going to go over, but it was awesome! it lasted about 5-10 minutes, and it was a huge hit. it was very humorous and i found out things that i never knew about my groom! how he really felt and what he remembered about our first date and kiss! it is truly unforgettable. all of the requests that i had and all the songs i threw at him, alan was able to handle it all and incorporate everything. he is very easy to get along with and he absolutely knows what he is doing! i highly recommend him!
rev. brian was great! the first time i talked to him, he talked to me for over an hour. he is there for whatever you need. he is extremely professional, but he has a sense of humor. he gives you many different choices for your ceremony, vows, unity candle, prayers, readings, and everything else. he made my ceremony go smoothly and perfectly. i highly recommend him. he will work with any budget, and he is not out for the money. i am so happy that we used him, and that he was able to help us out in such short notice (about 2-3 weeks before wedding)! he gives fast and great communication, and i really had nothing to worry about with him. he is just all around fantastic!
i cannot say enough about morgan's! everyone is so friendly and courteous. i dealt mainly with laurie, spence, and angie. we got everything there, and when i say everything... my ring, my groom's ring, four bridesmaids necklaces, my mom's necklace, cake cutting set, and champagne flutes. it really was a lot. i was in there all the time. they knew me by name, knew when i was getting married, and knew when i had to get everything done by. while a few of the things i ordered were discontinued, they let me know within a day or so of ordering, so i was able to order something else. they did the engravings for free, and i got a great discount with my emc card. they wrapped everything for me, and they did a great job of that, too! they clean my ring for me whenever i want, and for our wedding, they even gave us a present. it is a beautiful crystal clock with a wedding bell on top and it has our names and wedding date engraved on it. everyone there really cares about the customers and i know that i will never go to another jeweler. they are definitely the best in newnan, and probably in atlanta! i cannot recommend them enough!!
