Ibis Country Club has everything that you'd ever want in a wedding venue! There's space for an outdoor ceremony (which we had), space for an indoor ceremony if it rains, an indoor cocktail hour area, and a huuuuuuuuuuuuge ballroom that can fit as many guests as you want. The ballroom can also be made smaller for weddings with fewer guests.
The special events manager and catering manager are so helpful and allow you to drop off things for the wedding the week of the big day so that you're not trucking around guest books, favors, etc. the day of the wedding. They provide an excellent array of menu choices. We got SO MANY compliments on the food! Alcohol and food are included in your per person cost.
Ibis also provides all the linens and tableware necessary. It's basically a one stop shop and it makes planning a wedding so much easier when the staff is helpful and wants to help you.
Gregory Paul is amazing. I'm a photographer myself, so picking a photographer was the most important choice that we made for our wedding. We'd actually booked him before we had a venue. As soon as we picked our wedding date, we contacted him to book him for the wedding. He works with his wife Heidi, and they're both fantastic people who have a gift for what they do. They are outgoing, friendly, and will make you feel comfortable all throughout your wedding day.
The pictures that he takes are simply stunning. Booking him was the best decision we've ever made. He and Heidi were with us for 11 hours on the wedding day, and because of the number guests we had, we also had a second shooter helping out.
They'll do everything they can to ensure that your wedding pictures turn out as wonderfully as you could ever desire, and that's a great feeling as a bride!
My dress was absolutely gorgeous and I loved it from the minute I put it on. However, it takes a VERY long time to get your actual dress in store once your measurements are taken, so I would recommend doing what I did, and when you go to get your dress, tell them that your wedding date is about 6 weeks earlier than it actually is to make sure that your dress gets there on time for your wedding day.
While not insanely expensive, the dresses are not cheap. My dress was well made, but when I received it to take home, it was supposed to have been pressed, yet it was still fairly wrinkly. Granted the material of my dress was silk taffeta which is notoriously wrinkle-prone, but we still had to pay $200 to have it pressed again before the wedding.
Alterations are very expensive there. I'm glad that the length of my dress was fine, otherwise alterations costs would've easily gone over $1,000.
Searching for a dress at the Priscilla salon is very enjoyable, and you feel comfortable the whole time you're there.

We used Josh from Entertainment Connection and he was FABULOUS. Flat out awesome. He came recommended through our venue, and he was even better than we'd imagined. Entertainment Connection is very reasonably priced, and they do a fantastic job. We had so much fun dancing at our wedding. We had a Jewish wedding, and he did a wonderful job with all the Jewish traditions (dancing the hora, chair dance, etc.) They surpassed every expectation we had!!
Marty and Kenya were so kind and wonderful to be around on our wedding day. We haven't gotten our video back yet, but I know that it will be fabulous. The Reinhardts are an excellent duo and they captured all the important moments from our special day. A videographer was not an expense we initially planned on, but my father in law really wanted to have a video from the wedding. We're so glad that we found Reinhardt productions and we can't wait to get our DVDs!
There were several designs to choose from, and they were all fully customizable which was nice. We initially tried to have the invitations match our wedding colors, but we ended up going with the colors in the original design because we felt it looked better.
We used Magnet Street for our save the dates and our invitations so they'd match. We were pleased with the results.
We wanted a classic car to be our getaway car after the end of the reception and the 1958 Bentley that was provided to us by an Ethereal Experience was exactly what we were looking for. Thomas Cochoran is the owner of the vehicle and he's also the driver who will come pick you up (although he is planning on employing a driver in the near future). He provides an excellent deal and will give you a flat rate for the day, whereas most transport providers make you pay by the hour.
He was very accommodating, an even came to our venue in the late afternoon when we were taking pictures before the ceremony so we could have pictures taken with the car. He came back later on in the evening to take us to the hotel for our wedding night.
