Congratulations!! We can't wait for the wedding =)
Scott and I can't say enough good things about this place. We attribute so much success of our wedding and reception to John and Susan, Chasi, and the rest of the Vandiver staff. Our guests raved for the entire weekend of how amazing everything was, from the food to the rooms to just sitting on the porch in the morning for coffee and breakfast. We couldn't have asked for anything better. John and Susan were right there at all parts of the event, making sure everything was perfect, making sure that we and our guests were happy, and seeing that everything went smoothly. Chasi (the event coordinator) was absolutely amazing as well. She was there the whole time, from the initial meeting, to the walk-throughs and on the day of, making sure that we had everything taken care of, and that we were both doing alright. She made sure that I was well fed and watered before the ceremony, and that everything was set up just the way we envisioned. Nothing could have gone better, and we've made friends for life at the same time. Without the Vandiver, John, Susan, Chasi, and everyone else involved, we would not have had the wedding of our dreams. I can't give any higher praise than that. We love these guys, and we can't say enough how perfect the weekend was solely because of their hard work.
It was amazing working with Brian and Kate. Kate especially was amazing. She gave us everything and more that we wanted for our photos. She was always personable and professional, but very easy to get along with and really made us smile. Any concerns I had, she helped answer. She was as much a personal support prior to the wedding as our coordinator was. She was always ready for anything, and had amazing ideas for some of the best shots. Her artistic eye is amazing, and she's a total laugh riot to work with. Fun city!!! :) With ordering prints, Brian was also very helpful. Everything we ordered was very prompt, and the big portraits we had printed were stunning. They are totally worth the cost, and will deliver beyond what you initially expect of them.
Kathy and the whole of Sanner's Florist staff was amazing. Kathy was a joy to work with from day one - my now-husband and I immediately had a great connection with her, and she designed everything to be just the way we envisioned it. The bouquets were beautiful, and she put a great amount of detail into making sure it was just right. She was 100% flexible with me, especially with a bouquet for my bridal portraits that I inadvertently forgot to pay for. Kathy was understanding and trusting the entire time, and worked with me to make sure that everything was taken care of in the way of payments. She's a great person, and cares very much about what she does. She included a special gift with the bouquets for me and my bridesmaids - one that was both sweet and very practical! I won't give it away, because it was such a nice touch to be surprised with it. I will say that I am going to include this gift with my wedding mementos on how so many people came together to make our day perfect. Kathy was amazing, and I would highly recommend her to anyone, from weddings to everyday flowers. Thanks so much for everything, Kathy!
The Bridal Boutique in Columbia Columbia, Maryland
Seamstress was nice, but I had to get additional alterations done AFTER they finished. Dress selection wasn't what they advertised, either. Nearly all of the dresses are sale stuff. I bought off the rack because of a short engagement, and they were fairly timely in getting alterations made, but work had to still be done afterwards, and a lot of details were overlooked. They didn't even give me a garment bag - they wrapped my dress in a pink plastic bag instead of the plastic one that it had previously been stored in. Really - you spend all that money - they could part with a freaking plastic garment bag.
Jenny was great! She played all the right songs (except a few that were my fault, as I didn't get her the correct Flight versions that I wanted) and everyone had a great time. She was an amazing MC, and did everything right. :) She got everyone out on the dance floor, which was a feat because half of the guests were dancing to everything country, and the rest of the guests weren't the biggest country music fans. Everyone was telling me afterwards what a fun time they had, and how the music was great. She was instrumental in making our reception the party I've always wanted!

Ben was great! I wish that I had been able to hear more of him, but they kept me sequestered before walking down the aisle, and by the time I was able to actually hear him (we had a small venue, so no speakers or amps were used), I was so giddy that I couldn't perceive anything but my husband. Everyone else that was able to hear him, though, said he was wonderful! He learned all the songs I requested, and played it perfectly. He created just the mood that I wanted.
Don't really know too much about flexibility and professionalism, but the invitations were AMAZING, and they were EXTREMELY affordable. I'm so glad we went here!
Alberta was amazing. We loved the ceremony that she put together for us. She was very personable, and the guests enjoyed hearing what she had to say. She worked with us very closely to come up with the script, and did everything we wanted and more. She is the epitome of professionalism, and we couldn't have asked for a more sincere officiant. Thanks, Alberta!!! It was beautiful.

Working with these ladies was great! They did my bridesmaid's hair exactly the way they requested, and my hair and makeup was perfect. They worked with me at both of my trials to get the exact look I wanted. They are fun, too!
