Engagement photo session and photos were fabulous. However, when it got to the wedding photos it was a DISASTER. The only positive experience was that they were on time to the wedding and practically invisible. In the contract it stated a turn around time for photos and video to be complete and delivered within 12 weeks. That was long enough by itself but now after 25 weeks I still have no photos or video. Dealing with the photographer and her excuses has been a nightmare. I would never recommend Charlya Williams Photography to even my worst enemy.

The following is in response to Charlya Williams repsonse:

You did communicate that you were busy and it might take longer to process my photos and video, however that is why we changed the contract from 8 weeks to 12 weeks.... not 27 weeks. Being busy is one thing but using your divorce as an excuse to not fulfill your contractual agreements is another thing.

About the photos:
It was not that I didn't like the 34 out of the 505 that you posted online, it was that they need to be corrected to usable. the quality of the 505 photos of my wedding were in no way professional quality. I know the potential your work has from the other weddings you have posted online and my engagement photos you took. Don't get me wrong, those look GREAT. The quality of the photos you gave me for my wedding look very unprofessional.

Also, it has been 30 weeks since my wedding and I still have no wedding video or refund.

To say that I am the only one who has issues with your service is wrong. It seems that weddings after me seem to have issues with your sevice and professionalism. So I don't think this is the only complaint you have ever received from a client.

We are approaching 9 months since our wedding date and Charyla has yet to provide me with ALL of my complete photos, MY WEDDING VIDEO, and has repeatedly REFUSED a refund. My contract clearly states 12 weeks. I have received nothing but excuses as to why my items are not complete yet. She has been the most difficult person I have ever had to deal with. She should not be in the line of business she is currently in nor is she qualified to run a business doing it. I have never felt so scammed in my life. If you want a legit, honest, professional and trustworthy photographer you will SEEK SOMEONE ELSE.

It has now been more than 9 months since my wedding date. I have yet to receive both my complete photos and a wedding video from Charlya. The last time I heard from her was in mid April and all she had for me was more excuses as to why my wedding video was not complete. She continued to claim it would be done next week. When next week rolled around she said it would be another week. She refuses to refund my money that I paid even though she has not provided her end of the contract. Considering my experience with this photographer I would not recommend her to anyone. I feel completely gypped by her and will be persuing legal action.

C Gallery Photography responded with the the following comments:
In response to shbrighteyes, the photos did take longer to edit and post due to some personal issues that occurred in my life after her wedding. I communicated my situation to all my clients so they would know what was happening and she was the only one that was not understanding.

Also, I feel I need to mention that, before this bride booked me I told her I was very busy and even encouraged her to try to find another photographer because I was afraid that with my workload I could not meet her expectations. She still booked me knowing that I had an extremely busy remainder of the year.

After the pictures were posted, she didn't like 34 of them out of 505 photos. I went back and made the changes she requested, as I always do for clients and converted some of the photos to B&W and did some selective coloring. (Editing I do not charge extra for which is hard to find in this industry) 34 out of 505 photos I think is good especially when you are encouraged to go back to the photographer with any changes to the photos you would like made and they are more than willing to fix the photo the way you want it to look

If you look at shbrighteyes reviews of other vendors, I am not the only one she was unhappy with. Of all the events I have covered, big and small, this one being small, this is the only complaint I have ever received from a client

I found that Kirstens prices were well under the competition. The quailty of my center pieces and my aisle hangers were perfect. I was a little disipointed in the crosages and bouts and my bridal bouqet was a bit smaller than I expected. All together I would would recomend this vendor but maybe suggest to be more thorough.

I would not recommend Ambassador Cakes & Catering EVER for wedding cake service. The price was very cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. I had the hardest time trying to set up times to meet for consultations. On a few of the times they did not even show up and claimed that they had the dates confused. The end result I was not completely satified with at all. I asked for a specific pattern of dots and didn't get them. I wanted a more of a softer finished with the buttercream and it was more like a 5 year old iced it.

April did a fabulous job on everything paper. I got so many comments on how elegant everything looked.
