Birraporetti's has a basement party room, which is where we chose to have the reception. The food was fantastic, and they were great about working with our vendors to get everything set up. The staff was friendly, and there was plenty of room for our 85 person reception, and the dance floor. The restaurant provided the food, champagne toast, and the drinks. We had a blast at the party, and we got a lot of compliments on it!
Donna takes beautiful pictures, and they are extremely artistic. Our engagement pictures were fantastic, and I haven't seen many of our wedding pictures yet. (The wedding was about 2.5 weeks ago.) Can't wait to see the wedding pics!
The flowers Mark Anthony provided were exquisite. He put greenery up in the church, and he decorated the cake and reception. He was very professional and personable, and he did a fabulous job working with us and our budget. He also listened to what I was looking for, and he made the flowers even prettier than I had imagined!
We purchased the wedding cake and groom's cake here. It is not a traditional wedding cake bakery, but we bought a three tierd Italian Cream cake and a large, round Mom's Chocolate cake for the groom's cake. The cakes were delicious, and they turned out beautifully. However, they really messed up our payments by charging both me and my father. They even charged us different abounts. The first time I called they forgot to remove the charge on my card, but they did remove it on the second try. They will also charge you $150 if any pieces to the cake stand get lost, though we found the piece we lost to the cake stand for $12.99 online. So, the cake was delicious, but the bakery was extremely unprofessional.
Oh my gosh, I bought the most beautiful dress here. Originally I was going to have my dress made by a woman who designs wedding dresses. However, TWO MONTHS before the wedding she called to tell me that my dress had been lost. We did get reimbursed, but I only had two months to find a dress.
So, I called Felice Bridal and told them the situation. They said they could help me even though my budget was only around $2000 max. I came in on a Friday, and they pulled every sample they had in the store. The samples were in FABULOUS shape, and I ended up purchasing the second one I tried on. It was 50% off because it was a sample, and it was made entirely of silk taffeta. The seamstress they use for alterations comes into the store on Tuesdays, and she altered the dress to perfection. The store is so friendly, and they have the most beautiful dresses! The seamstress had the alterations done, and the dress bustled in time for the wedding, and the dress looked fantastic!
This DJ did keep everyone dancing, but they seemed to ignore the playlist that the groom and I made to go with the regular wedding songs (ie the Bunny Hop, Electric Slide, etc.) It wouldn't be as big a deal, but they requested a playlist with 50 songs, and it took us forever to make it. Also, one of the groomsmen requested a song, and they told him they play requests for tips.
This was a disaster. The limo driver insisted on being paid while all of the guests were standing in front of the church. He got lost on the way to the hotel from the reception, and he was SO rude, he actually yelled at me when he took us to the Hilton Garden Inn instead of the Hilton. Awful, awful, awful sketchy man.

It took me FOREVER to find a person to do hair and make-up for my bridesmaids and I! So many of the places cost so much money! Steven is very reasonable, and he will let you book out his salon for the day. So, at 10AM on the day of the wedding, my 3 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself arrived at Steven's salon. My godmother brought champagne and brunch at 11AM, and our close family friends came by for a small wedding day get-together. It was so much fun, and everyone's hair and make-up turned out beautifully! Steven also sells the products he uses, so you can buy your lipstick, or your touch-up make-up at the salon.
This is a very personal store, and he has good prices. My ring set is beautiful, and I couldn't reccomend this store enough! He even had my diamond set overnight so that we didn't have to drive back to Fort Collins the next week!
