Excellent venue! We chose this hotel because of the location, reception room and beauty...price was also great. We were married on Friday May 1, 2009 on the beach at the hotel. This hotel has set up 2 palm tree lined isles on the beach for the ceremony, and will provide chairs, tables and an arch when requested. They have mulitple reception rooms to fit any style, from high in the sky overlooking the entire beach from their floor to ceiling windows, to a beachside room that fits over 100+ to the small informal room we chose, which was the Palm room. It was right off the pool, had indoor and outdoor seating and sat about 35 people inside and 30 outside (not for those who want a dance floor). It was perfect! Our coordinator was Cherish Coddington. She was absolultely the best. I worked closely with her and Kristi for over 10 months. The wedding went off without any issues and it was all due to Cherish's dedication to our happiness. The catering department, and all other areas of the hotel staff that assisted were wonderful in making sure everything was perfect. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and our guests compliment on it still! Note: I would recommend to anyone having a beach wedding (if you are having more then just a few guests) to have a PA system. Most of our guests said they could barely or not at all hear anything from the officiate or us. It was a shame as our ceremony was beautiful and fit us perfectly and we would have liked our guests to hear it.
Jose was absolutely perfect for us and our wedding. He captured the event and all of us so beautifully and is a true artist with the camera. I worked with Jose only through email and we met him the day of the wedding. He is great with communication and very timely. When we met him it was immediately like he was an old friend. We laughed and joked the entire time and we enjoyed it immensely. The photos were absolutely gorgeous and captured us our true personality. He was extremely flexible about the pictures when I came with a list of what I wanted he happily complied while intermingling his own style and flair. We could not have found anyone better!
Lou's Florist and Wine Garden St Petersburg , Florida
I would highly recommend Lou's Florist. We found Lou's when searching the internet for a florist close to our wedding location. There are a few in the area, but Lou's seemed to be more personable and reasonably priced. If you are looking for something really extreme or out of the ordinary, they might not be perfect for you. However, what we were looking for we definitely found here. We worked with Karen who was wonderful. She spent over an hour with us trying to figure out what we wanted, since I really had no idea. I came in with some specifications (did not want a traditional bridal bouquet) and Karen was able to come up with something that I have never seen before and was perfect. Karen delivered the bouquet on the wedding day and called to make sure everything was right. I mentioned I wanted it to be a little larger, and she rushed up to fix it for us immediately. The quality and professionalism was exceptional.
Le Cheesecake made a wonderful cake for our beach wedding. Richard is a great guy, but can be very busy. Sometimes it is hard to get a quick response. However, don't be swayed, even though the communication was a little rough the cake was EXCEPTIONAL! We had a 3 tier cake, with 3 different flavors (no extra charge) and our guests were all so excited to try a piece of every flavor! They were all terrific. Richard pulled it out and it was perfect!!! The price is also one of the best in the area.
Excellent! I would highly recommend Kat Christie from Clearwater Notary and Weddings. Kat was a wonderful person to work with for our wedding. She is quirky which fits our personalities, but is very professional as well. She has a lot of good information on her website, including many versions of ceremonies. She will also write a ceremony specifically for you, or will be happy to read any you want to give to her (as we did). She also has other services she offers, such as doing flowers for the wedding and having a wireless PA system and stereo for music to rent for a very low cost. He price is exceptional for the service she provides. I found Kat via the internet and was extremely satisfied. Clearwater Notary and Weddings responded with the the following comments: WOW!!!
