In a small, picturesque church in the small town of Paia, Holy Rosary is a diamond in the rough. Nestled amidst a sugar cane field, it was just about as charming as you can get. Working with the Deacon was extremely easy. The church was very communicative when it came to paperwork deadlines and time management. Father Patrick Freitas was a humorous, generous and kind-hearted man, who obviously cared a great deal about his church and his community. Working with him was extremely easy and enjoyable.
It does not offer much in amenities, but it makes up for it in character and charm. I would recommend this place to friends over and over again.
He was very easy to work with. He, along with his staff, was friendly, informative and knowledgable about his work. After meeting with him the first time, Mike really took the time to understand our vision, to know who we were as a couple.
This knowledge was reflected in his work. He took photos from every angle. He showed up to our reception site early to get some extra time to take photos of the details. He was aware of local sites for us to take our solo photos.
My only complaint is that we didn't get more time with him! His package included a free engagement session which we weren't able to take advantage of. With the hectic schedule, the B&G time was a little bit more limited. But I hope that our paths will cross again where we can take advantage of his work another time.
Della was an extreme pleasure to work with. Her simple, elegant designs were exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. She was very easy to work with. When needed, she offered suggestions using my basic concepts. Working with a limited budget, she was more than willing to be flexible with all of the changes I had in mind.
When the wedding day came, she created a unique and beautiful style that everyone loved. I highly recommend her!

House of Fashion was a mixed bag for me. I thought they had a great selection of dresses. When I first started shopping for dresses, I LOVED their flexibility and attention to my needs. The staff was very patient and informative when it came to helping me find my dress. When I picked my first dress, and changed my mind after a couple of days - I was relieved when they were accommodating with the cancellation of the order and the second go around of dress try-ons. They took into account my indecision and really helped to guide me in the right direction in selecting a dress. For that alone, I would have given perfect scores.
The alterations and fittings were a little more less satisfactory. Most of the time, I felt like they were trying to take the shortest route. From day one, I was firm about the unflattering ruffling of a part of my dress. They insisted it was simply a matter of pressing it out. Then it just had to be pulled to the side. Then it just had to be nipped a little. Ultimately, they had to undo an entire seam and fix the layering of the extra material - as was suggested initially. As a result, it ended up in 4 additional fittings because they couldn't get it to lay properly.
In terms of value, they have a great range of pricing and a varied selection so I gave more stars for that.
Evonne is the consummate wedding professional. From planning to execution, she has been an invaluable resource for us on our wedding day. She has expert local knowledge, excellent customer service and is highly responsive by e-mail and telephone.
Throughout the planning process, she was aware of all aspects of the program and notified me immediately of any conflicts. She attended meetings with me and asked questions that were significant to the planning process.
On the day of the wedding, I put no thought into the plannig or execution of the wedding day. I went into my wedding 100% confident that she would handle my event successfully. My focus was on enjoying my wedding day. And enjoy it I did.
I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding coordinator!!
