First of all, this place is GORGEOUS! I hadn't intended to choose someplace in Frederick, much less someplace with lots of small twisty roads to go through to get there but once I saw it I could not resist. We had so many compliments from guests on the beautiful venue. Despite it being November we were able to have the ceremony outside and the reception inside. Despite what another reviewer said about not liking having the event on two floors, I found it helped in getting people to mingle & not just stick at their own tables all night. The day of coordinator was flawless and really made the day so easy for me. She called me several times in the weeks leading up to the wedding to see if there was anything she could do for me and if I had any questions. Everyone associated with the Inn was so nice, guests even commented on that fact. As far as the food, I thought the London broil was a little overdone, but we also had salmon & chicken and those were delicious. The decor is neutral but very nice, and in my opinion much nicer than the standard ballroom. There are huge windows in the dining room overlooking the green fields & pond. Plus when we were shopping for a venue, we thought we could have up to 200 guests, and they said they could accommodate that. We ended up with significantly fewer - about 140 - and were quite comfortable. 200 might be pushing it in terms of comfort but certainly there was room for more people than we had. My centerpieces & a couple of decorations didn't make it into the pile of stuff for us to take home, but then that is also my fault for not designating someone to do that either. I really could not have asked for more in terms of a ceremony/reception venue.
I could not have asked for more. I loved working with Lisa, all through the planning, and the day of, she & Ian seemed to be everywhere but still unobtrusive. Many of my guests commented on how unobtrusive they were, but they still got wonderful shots. My package was priced very reasonably for one photographer, yet this was for two. I was pleasantly suprised seeing some of the shots they took when I was elsewhere in the reception, lots of nice pictures of our guests. They were both so nice to work with; I think the groomsmen would have happily adopted Ian into their party. For me it was nice that Lisa had been a bride just a couple of months before my wedding, she had just been through it. Everyone I have shown my pictures to has been as awed by them as I am. I would highly highly recommend Softbox Media.

Isabel made my dress fit me perfectly, I kept hearing compliments about it throughout the wedding. She is so easy to work with, and gave her suggestions as to what would make it work best. Her prices are very reasonable, and the turnaround time was very quick. Plus she is so sweet! I am so glad I found her!
I would highly recommend using Larry Adler/Adler Entertainment. Everything went extremely smoothly the day of, and I never had to think about what was going on with the music. I had several compliments on how good the DJ was,and he played all of our requested music,none of our "Don't Play" list. This was not the most 'inclined to dance' crowd, but he still managed to have at least a handful of people dancing at all times. I was not as timely as I should have been about finalizing our music lists, and was still scrambline a couple of days prior to try to find music for ceremony singers. Larry was as flexible and helpful as could be, without ever getting impatient or annoyed at me. The pricing was very reasonable too. I can't think of anything more I could ask for.

Nicole was absolutely wonderful! So sweet to work with, and a magician with makeup. She made me look exactly as the quote goes "like myself but better". I got SO many compliments on my makeup. And my mom was thrilled with her makeup too, which wasn't easy! She was so relaxed and calm the morning of that it kept everyone calm. I can't say enough positive things about her.

Mindy from Updos for I Dos did my hair for my wedding and it was great! I was a little worried because at the trial it looked a little rough, and I changed my mind on what I wanted to do with the front. However, on the day of, it all worked perfectly, and stayed exactly the way it should have for the whole wedding.
