I hate having a wedding budget...why does everything have to be so darn expensive!?!
Raves I LOVE planning my wedding. I have been dreaming of this day since I was about 5-years-old, so now to actually be able to plan for the "real deal" is so exciting.

Amber- it was wonderful to meet you and I'm so glad I was able to make it to your East Coast Engagement party. It was so special to welcome you to the Healy-Maugeri family. I had a blast - Cathy and Tom did a fabulous job with the party. I'm glad you guys "tied" in the race to the altar game. David- your happiness just beams- Congratulations! Love to both of you.

Mary and Dave are the most professional and fun photographers we've had the opportunity to work with. We knew from our very first meeting with them that they were the perfect fit for us as a couple. They flew out to Disneyland to meet us for our engagement photo session and we all had a blast... it felt like hanging out with friends as opposed to a hired vendor, not to mention the photos turned out fantastic! Mary helped me with my husband's wedding gift; a tasteful and beautiful boudior session. He absolutely loves the photos! And now, just after our wedding, all of our photos are stunning. They made sure to capture all of our "must have" moments and then some. All of our bridal party has commented on how easy and fun they were to work with. Most of the time we didn't even realize they were around, they were so well hidden. We absolutely love them and have found two new friends for life. We will be using Mary and Dave for all of our family portraits to come!!
Blooms by Martha did an amazing job creating my vision for the perfect fairy tale wedding. All of the bouqets and boutonnieres were flawlessly matched to the theme and colors of the wedding. Her attention to details in all of the centerpieces and accent pieces at the reception was noticed and complimented by all of our guests. Her and her staff did a great job getting everything set up in a timely manner and it all looked beautiful. Definitely a great value for the price! If I ever need floral arrangements for an event, she will be the first person I call.
Trudy's staff was very helpful in the selection of my wedding dress, my mom's dress, and my bridesmaids' dresses. They had some really great choices and they carried all of the designers I was looking for. They also have an amazing variety of accessories. I will definitely use them again for formalwear.
Joe was a pleasure to work with throughout our whole planning process. He made sure we were 100% involved with the music selections for the whole wedding. He was very flexible and accomodating; we requested a monogram light for the dance floor and he was able to get it for a great price. He worked well with our wedding planner to get the timing of our ceremony and reception down perfect. His great mix of different genres of music got everybody on the dance floor and kept the party going until the end. He was everything we needed in a DJ and then some.
Reverend Jennifer Tan worked with us to create a beautiful ceremony. She offered many great suggestions but made sure the end result was exactly what we wanted as a couple. Her professionalism was greatly appreciated. Every time I called or emailed her she responded right away. She has a great love for the institution of marriage and we enjoyed having her as a part of our day.
Where do I start to describe the services provided by Holliday Weddings? I first met Heather at a bridal faire when I was unsure if I needed a wedding planner or not, but I am so glad that my fiance (now husband) told me I needed one. She not only provided the professional support that I needed throughout the wedding planning process, but she has also become one of my closest friends.
She totally got my vision of the perfect fairy tale wedding and was able to create that in ten-fold! She made sure my wedding day was so stress-free that I was able to enjoy all the little moments. When she pulled me aside so that I could be the first to view my reception site all set up, I started to cry because it was everything I had dreamed of since I was a little girl. Later on in the evening when there was a minor snag with some guests she made sure everything was handled with such professionalism that half of our guests didn't even know what was going on. She kept everything flowing at the reception and made sure everyone had a great time.
Heather's mom, Phyllis, who is one of her assistants, was such a great help with our wedding as well. She took care of all the alterations of my wedding gown, which included lifting and re-attaching hand appliqued lace and beading. She was able to figure out the bustle in advance so, come my wedding day, Heather was able to bustle me in less than 5 minutes and it stayed the entire night.
If you are considering whether or not you need a wedding planner... YOU DO! It makes everything so much easier. And when you realize you need a planner, you should definitely choose Holliday Weddings!
