La Venta Inn's venue was a dream and their food (New York Food Company) was excellent! It was the perfect place and we had great ocean views during the wedding day. My event coordinator, Tim, was awesome. He ran through the wedding with us and made sure things went smoothly the night of. Please note that for La Venta Inn, you must go with their caterer. Their food prices were reasonable (especially for a summer weekend wedding) and since you were paying for the food, it made the venue rental for the ceremony only, a steal. I could not recommend them enough and I've had guests wanting to have their weddings at La Venta after attending mine. They have made my wedding memorable and I'm hoping that I'll be able to attend friends' weddings at La Venta in the future.

I went to Palos Verdes Bridal for my veil and they did an excellent job. The staff was friendly and they made sure that the veil arrived when it was scheduled to. Since I was planning to get my veil at another Bridal store that went out of business, I had to place a rush order with Palos Verdes Bridal, but the veil came in time, and it was perfect!
Working with this vendor was the scariest thing I had to experience in the preparation of my wedding. The company went out of business but never bothered to contact the brides. I actually found out that the company "disappeared" after talking to the dressmaker - Matthew Christopher (who were EXCELLENT). They contacted my explaining the situation and I immediately disputed the deposit charges with my credit card company. I eventually got the dress barely in time for a seamstress to work on it. The only reason, I rated the Professionalism as 1 is at least they sent my contact information to the dressmaker for them to contact me.
I was a little nervous about ordering invitations online from all the horror stories, but I decided to take a chance since the price was such a great value. I made sure to order early April to ensure I had enough time to fix any mistakes, but happily, I didn't have to. They provided beautiful invitations and I was extremely impressed with the high quality of the invitations. I was also very pleased with the paper quality (especially since I was working in the publishing industry and have had production explain the different types of paper).
I bought my Save the Date cards at The American Wedding because I fell in love with their "Children of the Inner Light" Hugging Wedding Invitation. It was so cute and totally fit my husband and my personalities. They were quick to ship and guests really enjoyed them.
Affordable Weddings by Reverend Bob Long Beach, California 90804
Reverend Bob was an awesome officiant. He organized the whole ceremony and added special touches according to our needs. I had a lot of compliments as he was able to keep our ceremony non-religious per our request. After the wedding, I had a friend ask for his contact for her daughter because he did such an excellent job. Our wedding ceremony was simple, yet beautiful. I'm very glad we asked him to perform the ceremony for us.

Excellent service already. They were able to provide a local makeup artist in Los Angeles (despite being headquartered in Chicago), and I absolutely loved my makeup artist. She was friendly and professionally and made me comfortable through the whole process, especially since I don't usually wear a lot of makeup. My mom also loved the artist. Beauty on Call's sales person, Rachel, was also excellent, answering all my questions in a timely manner. She arranged for a makeup artist to come to a location of my choice. A preview session was also arranged. The reason I went with Beauty on Call was because they didn't have a minimum number of people for them to come to a location. Other vendors required at least 4 people before they would provide services.
