We had eaten at the Meson many times in the past years. The food and service has always been amazing. When we got engaged, we were debating on when/where to have the wedding, the Meson Sabika popped into my head (they had just built the pavilion) and it was the first and only place we ever visited. We booked the date on the spot. Our day was absolutely perfect, our ceremony was in their rose garden, and the reception just steps away in the pavilion. We had a 'cocktail reception' with heavy hors d'?uvres. When first booking we knew we wanted to have a reception that wasn't a 'sit down' dinner, but one where our guests would mingle and be able to walk around the room during dinner. The amount of food was perfect, everyone was stuffed and was able to try all 13 items on the menu (we highly recommend adding the prime-rib carving station and dessert table). There were stations set up around the room with half of the menu items and the other half were passed around by waiters. We had enough seats at the guest tables for everyone to sit down, which most of them did during toasts. But we rented cocktail tables (bar height) so that guests would have somewhere to set their drink, eat or chat. The staff was amazing, they were there for whatever we needed every step of the way. They have the scheduling down, and know what to expect. The price we paid was worth every penny, we had the time of our lives and highly recommend Meson Sabika. We have already been back there for dinner since we did not have a chance to eat all of the amazing food on our wedding day!
My husband and I met Monica and Chris at (of all places) a bridal show. One of the worst experiences... until meeting them! Everyone at bridal shows are shoving information down your throat, but when walking by Monica and Chris's booth, I was taken aback by the beauty of their photographs on the screen behind them. After exchanging information, we met with them a couple weeks later and booked with them the next day! It was the best decision we made! Monica and Chris shot our engagement session, bridal shower and wedding day. They designed our guest book and we are discussing doing a 'day after' session in a couple weeks. I cannot begin to explain how happy we are with their quality of work. Monica and Chris are personable, professional, fun, passionate, amazing, gifted and of all things, great people. They truly care about you, and want to make sure they capture every emotion involved on your wedding day. They document your wedding in a way that will bring you right back to that day, you will feel every emotion you did on your wedding day when going through the photos. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests and friends about how amazing our photos turned out, and how much emotion came through in each photograph. We have all of that thanks to Monica and Chris, two of the most talented photographers today. Your wedding day is the most important day of your life, and you want to remember it forever. There is nothing better than knowing we can go back and flip through the album to relive our wedding day. And now we have two great friends in the process! Thank you Monica and Chris :)
Lindsay and her team are amazing! They created the most beautiful flowers I could ever imagine, and all within our budget. They did all of our bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, ceremony and reception flowers. Everything was better than I imagined. We discussed ways to keep the cost down, and they surpassed all of our expectations. My bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen, I may be a bit biased, but I received countless comments on how perfect the bouquets turned out. She used our colors (brown and green) in every aspect of the design, down to the ribbon around the vases. Lindsay is very personable and passionate about her business. She will remember every little detail of what you want your wedding day to look like. Her ability to interpret the style of your wedding day is one that I never saw at another florist. After meeting other florists, I met with Lindsay and booked on the spot. You know in your first meeting with her that she is excited about the business, and that was exactly what I was looking for, as should all brides. If a vendor is as passionate about their work and your wedding day as you are, you know the quality of work will be amazing. Thank you Lindsay!
Pastry Pantry only provides cakes to certain reception sites, but since the owner is a family friend, we were able to call in a favor :) We had tried their cakes at parties and the quality is beyond amazing. We met with Joy and gave her a description of how we envisioned our wedding cake, and she went above and beyond. The cake was so beautiful! It tasted better than I had remembered and it is taking everything we have not to break open the box in our freezer holding the cake! I highly recommend Pastry Pantry and wish every wedding we went to had wedding cakes made by them, because they are simply amazing.
I purchased a Maggie Sottero gown from Eva's Bridal, I absolutely love the gown but was not happy with the place I purchased it from. I HAVE to warn brides before they make the same mistake I did. I went to Eva's because I fell in love with Maggie Sottero gowns after trying them on at Crystal Bride in Geneva (amazing bridal salon!), unfortunately I had not found 'the dress' during my trips to Crystal Bride. Eva's was having a trunk show, where they bring in many different designs that are not usually carried in the store. The only reason I made the long drive there was to try on the Maggie gowns. After falling in love with one of them, I made the mistake of purchasing it from them. They tell you that you HAVE to purchase it that day, and that the price is a 'trunk show special', do not believe them, it's a load of crap. In reality, I wish I would have walked out of the store that day, called Crystal Bride and had them order the exact same dress for me at the same price (because they could have after I discussed it with them) and had a 100% better experience. Eva's makes you pay 60% up front, which can be by credit card, debit, etc. But when you pick up the dress you have the pay the balance IN CASH. You cannot write a check, pay with your debit card, etc. You have to bring all cash to pay for it. So basically they are only claiming 60% of the cost of the dress (what they paid for it) and then pocketing the 40%. Not the most trustworthy place to buy the most important dress of your life. The WORST part of my experience was picking up my dress. It was raining all day, we made the hour and a half drive to Eva's and when leaving asked for the 'gown bag' so we could transport it to our car without getting wet, stained, etc. THEY DON'T PROVIDE YOU WITH A ZIPPER GOWN BAG TO TAKE YOUR DRESS HOME!! So I just spent over $1,000 on a dress that they want me to take home in a dry cleaners bag??? Half of the dress is hanging out the bottom, and there are holes in it. I could have gone to Macy's bought a $50 dress and they would provide a zipper bag for me to store it in while I walk from the store to my car. After complaining and asking to speak to a manager (who was tied up in the room next to us with another bride complaining about their terrible service) miraculously they found a zippered gown bag. I DO NOT recommend Eva's Bridal for any of their services.
**We purchased all of the bridesmaid dresses from Crystal Bride and I highly recommend them for all of your bridal attire needs.
I WISH I would have purchased my wedding dress at Crystal Bride. After making that big mistake, all of my bridesmaids purchased their dresses from Crystal Bride. They are amazing! Crystal Bride had the best customer service, their dressing rooms were very large and clean, and they treat you with the utmost respect. As a bride you have a million things to worry about, and one thing you will not have to is your wedding gown or bridesmaid dresses if you purchase them from Crystal Bride. Everything was on time and perfect. I highly recommend them for any of your wedding attire!

Ami and her crew were amazing. They were on time, ready to go, and cheerful on our wedding day. All of our bridesmaids and family had their hair and airbrush makeup done. Every one of them was happy with the service. As a bride, I went in for a trial with Ami a couple weeks before our wedding day. She took the image I had in my mind and produced an amazing final product. I am beyond happy with how my hair and makeup turned out! I received compliment after compliment about how amazing my hair looked, especially from the back when I was standing at the alter. I HIGHLY recommend One Bridal Company for all of your wedding day beauty. And the airbrush makeup really does make a difference!
We used Sharokina as a day-of coordinator for our wedding day. We had a lot of DIY projects my husband and I did ourselves to save money, and wanted to make sure all of our hard work was executed as we imagined on the day-of. Her and her assistant were on time and managed our day very well. I had not heard of anything going wrong on our wedding day (which a bride shouldn't), it just seemed as though everything went through as planned. Sharokina fielded any questions, calls, etc. the day-of so I did not have to worry. I was just able to enjoy the day. Her and her assistant packed up our car at the end of the night with gifts, centerpieces, and all the other odds and ends that we needed to take home. Brides, in order to enjoy your wedding day you need someone behind-the-scenes making sure all of your hard work is executed the day of and to keep you on your timeline. All the planning leads up to one day, and you want it to be perfect. I recommend hiring Sharokina.
