The Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax provided me and my husband with the wedding of our dreams. Catherine Calvin, the catering manager, was extremely friendly, attentive, and responsive to my needs throughout the planning process, and we were thrilled to work with her. She was very helpful in making sure that we were able to work within our budget to achieve everything we wanted. Julio was on-site the day of our wedding, and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. We had a beautiful cocktail hour, and the decorations were set up exactly as I had envisioned. They were even able to open up the courtyard (thanks to the weather!) and our guests had a fabulous time utilizing the additional bar and tables that were set up outside. The staff paid close attention to the needs of myself and my husband, and particularly to our guests. The dinner was delicious and served in a professional and efficient manner. The way that the staff interacted with my other vendors (photographer, DJ) ensured that the rest of the evening went smoothly. We had a fabulous exit with sparklers in the courtyard, and it made for a moment I will never forget. They also provided us with a complimentary room for the evening, and we held a brunch in their fabulous restaurant for our guests the morning after. It was the perfect way for us to thank our guests for coming and to spend some quality time with those who came from out of town.
I would highly recommend this hotel for their extremely professional services and personal attention to detail. Our friends and family are still commenting on what an incredible event it was, and how pleased they were with everything that was provided by the hotel. I cannot say enough about Catherine and her staff. She truly made our wedding dreams come true!
Darla was a pleasure to work with during the planning process for our wedding. She showed up on the day of my wedding and blended right in, using her professionalism to capture the important moments without causing a scene. She was very efficient in getting people to where they needed to be, taking the necessary photographs, and ensuring that each moment was captured perfectly. She promised me the digital pictures 4-5 weeks from the wedding, so I can't wait to see them soon. She did a wonderful job and my husband and I would highly recommend her!
I chose DaVinci Florist because I received a free bouquet in a drawing at a bridal show, and I'm so glad I decided to go with them for the rest of my floral needs at my wedding. While talking for a brief time with Sharone, he was able to see my vision and articulated it perfectly in the flowers I received on the day of my wedding. The bouquet was perfect, and my bridesmaids loved all of theirs, as well. The centerpieces, which we had created at an earlier date, were perfect and fit in beautifully with the rest of the decorations. My mom made the wedding cake, and the way that they arranged the flowers to accentuate the beauty of the cake and the cake table was absolutely perfect. Their professional demeanor and affordable prices made them very easy to work with, and I would highly recommend them to any bride-to-be.
I found my wedding dress at Bridal Chateau after looking at about 4 other bridal salons. Their sales staff was so friendly and accommodating, and took the time and attention to help me search for the perfect dress. Since I wasn't a size 2 or 4, I felt a little unsure of how I would fit into the sample dresses, but the woman I worked with made me feel beautiful and helped me pick a style that would accentuate my figure. I fell in love with the Maggie Sottero dress that I finally chose, and she (along with my mom and bridesmaid) confirmed that it was the perfect dress for me. Since I was getting married out of state, I wanted to make sure I would be able to arrange fittings for my visits to Buffalo during the Christmas break. They were extremely flexible with me and were always able to fit me into their calendar, making sure that my every need was taken care of while I was there. I was so excited to finally take my dress home with me, and I got so many compliments on how beautiful the bustle was. I would highly recommend Bridal Chateau for their friendly staff, reasonable prices, and attention to detail. Thank you!
I received a $100 off coupon for Creative DJs at a bridal show I attended, and I'm glad that I decided to book them. They were extremely professional, and I enjoyed the convenience of the song request website to help organize the music for our wedding. Matthew was our DJ for the evening of our event, and he was so friendly and upbeat and matched our musical tastes perfectly. He did a great job shortening some of the instrumental parts of the father-daughter dance song, and was very flexible in adjusting the songs depending on the mood of the crowd. I approached him a few times to see if he could switch a couple of things around based on time for the evening, and he was able to adjust everything flawlessly to make sure we fit in everything we needed. He did a great job as an emcee, and didn't overshadow the event by talking too much (as some DJs tend to do). His assistant was also very professional and made sure that everyone was having a great time. I would highly recommend them for a wedding or any other event!
Nationwide Limo Service was extremely easy and professional to work with. They showed up earlier than requested, which put me at ease on the day of my wedding. The limo was beautiful and had plenty of room for our party. We booked a 12-14 person Ford Excursion, and we fit 12 of us quite comfortably. The bar was very convenient, and we had plenty of room for our own cooler with beer and champagne. The accessibility to the radio was also nice, so we could determine the type of atmosphere we wanted. It was also convenient that we didn't need to pay in advance, and that our credit card was charged only after the service was provided for us. They were extremely affordable and we feel that we definitely got our money's worth. The driver was very professional, and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for limo services for their wedding or other special event.
