We used the Sheraton Tucson Hotel and Suites for our Reception Venue. They were phenomenal. They bent over backwards to meet our needs and work with us. We searched many hotels in the area and no one compared to them. Their prices were more than fair and the quality of their food was exceptional.
We worked with Cynthia Gonzales and her staff and they were there every step of the way to make sure that our reception was everything we dreamed of. They did an incredible job setting everything up, meeting our needs and everything ran like clockwork! So many of our guests commented on how it was the best reception they have ever been to, because of the way it was done and how wonderful the people were.
I have to say, that not only were the people we worked directly with wonderful, but everyone we encountered the day of the wedding (waiters, cleaning people, engineers, front desk, etc.) were so kind, and congratulated us. You don't see that kind of service in hotels very often anymore.
We highly recommend them for any type of event you may have. Their rooms are gorgeous too! Just prior to our wedding, they had completely renovated the hotel and the rooms were renovated the year before. It is a beautiful site!
Ivy and her assistant Ryan did a phenomenal job with our wedding. She had such creative ideas when taking pictures and went out of her way to find inspiring shots. The value you get is excellent and we loved that she adds special touches and does free touch ups on the photos at your request.
Ivy was prompt the day of the wedding and a bit help. She was never in the way, but managed to get all kinds of great shots. Ivy and her assistant were both very easy to work with and a lot of fun.
My only complaint was that she wasn't always quick in responding, but it never became a real issue.
Although after I had booked my flowers with Serendipity, I found Michelle hard to get ahold of, overall, I was very pleased with the outcome of the flowers. She was a bit late the day of the wedding that stressed me a bit, but the flowers did arrive before the ceremony and they were absolutely beautiful. I have very little vision of what I wanted and Michelle was great at walking me through what flowers would work and go together. 2 weeks later, many of my flowers still look gorgeous!
This had to have been the best cake EVER! I had found a picture of the cake I would like online and brought it to Paulette. She recreated the cake and it looked gorgeous. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was fresh and delicious! Many guests said it was the best wedding cake they have ever had! Even a week later, the cake was moist and tasty! Although it was all done in Italian Butter Cream frosting, it looked like it was covered in fondant, because it was so smooth and beautiful.
I highly recommend Villagebake House for cakes. It was a long drive for us to go there, but it was well worth it. They were super easy to work with and like many brides, I changed my mind a few times and they were always so nice about it. And the freshness and taste of their cakes cannot be beat!
I got my dress as well as the bridesmaid dresses at David's Bridal. The manager was awesome and really worked with us on some issues.
However, I was not happy or impressed with some of the saleswoman I to work directly with. They seemed to leave out a lot of information when ordering my gown and I ended up having to get another one a month or so before. I do not think that they have much training on fitting brides. They pushed selling stuff that wasn't necessary or appropriate for the dresses bought.
We also had the bridesmaids' shoes bought and dyed there. Some came out good, but others were not so good. Unfortunately, they take FOREVER in getting them done and it was too late to do anything about it. I would not recommend them for shoes.
I will say that, although i cannot remember her name, the manager of the alterations was phenomenal. She had to do a lot of nips and tucks for my dress that was covered in lace and you couldn't even tell. She was so gentle mannered and kind and did a beautiful job. The dress truly looked transformed and fit beautifully when she was done.
We worked with James to get our tuxedos for the wedding party. He came highly recommended from a friend and we were not disappointed! They did a great job and were so nice to work with. We encountered a few fitting errors, but they quickly remedied that and everything turned out perfect.
They had a great selection of tuxedos and although I didn't use them for my dress or my bridesmaids, if I had gone their first, I would have. It looked like a great selection of dresses as well and all their employees were so nice and helpful. You can tell it is a small family owned business, they really care about their clients!
CE Entertainment is awesome! Marc did a phenomenal job making our reception a lot of fun! We were so impressed with his appearance, his helpfulness, how he kept the reception going and the great music he played. We had a lot of little kids at our wedding and he did so many fun things to include them, that they had a blast! He did some great games with the adults and we saw people on the dance floor we never thought would be out there! He was totally engaging for the entire crowd.
His cost was the most reasonable, and he stayed til the end! He took the time to make sure he could pronounce the entire wedding parties name and made sure he met all our special requests. Many at the party said he was the best DJ they had ever heard!
We booked the limo really late, but Tony at Allison Limousines was awesome. The limo he promised was gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. It was clean and best of all, they were even a bit early! You hear so many horror stories that the limo is always late and they were not! The driver was helpful and courteous. I would rent from them again!
