I am originally from the Chicagoland area, but now live out of state. This was the perfect location for us because of the beautiful views and since it was in the heart of the city it made the weekend just unforgettable. Everyone at the hotel was really helpful and seemed to understand what I wanted when planning and executing the day. I don't know how long they have been doing weddings at the location but they seemed really organized with everything except there was all sorts of confusion on their end with the financial aspect of things when it came to totals and amount owed and things like that.
Aside from that I liked how the cake was included in the package, along with the table linen, and many other things... it gave me one less thing to do and figure out being out of town. If I had to do it all over again I would pick the same place, it was great.
I booked photo/video/dj with the pros. All three of my vendors were wonderful. The actual company is on the east coast so it was a struggle for me at times talking with them because I am 3 hour time difference in Arizona. The representative I was working with did not originally relay that info to the photo/video/dj so they were trying to contact me and bad times a day and it was stressful. Once we all got on the same page everything was great.
The DJ totally got our little group from first meeting, and played all the right things! He was funny and interactive. Photographer was also funny, and came along with us in the limo to take pictures and it was a fun experience. We are not big on video so we got the cheapest budget package, and I have yet to see it since our wedding was the end of last month, but I am confident it will be good. Our bridal party had a blast with it so I heard, they all got to say a few words privately so that will be interesting to see. =)
Wonderful overall! Beautiful flowers, affordable! People thought they were real!! I got 12 bouts, 6 bridesmaid bouquets and then a larger one to match for myself. In addition, we got a cake topper and corsages for the moms and everything turned out perfect! Highly recommend! I saved so much money and the best part is you can keep the flowers forever!
Easy website, liked the preview option. The invites from Jean were my favorite the whole time but I chose a cheaper one from a different company first that they screwed up 3 times, ended up refunding all of that and going with the JeanM ones... should have just done that from the beginning. Rushed the delivery, got them on time and perfect.
Highly recommend! The ceremony was beautiful and totally us! I was planning from long distance, and just by talking on the phone I felt like we connected and she totally understood what I was going for and it could really show in the final product!

I loved that they came to the hotel we were at because our ceremony and reception were both there, we were staying there, and we were in town from Arizona so basically the wedding day was made so much simpler because we didn't have to journey all over the city to get things done!
