I really enjoyed working with the Waterford. I had several challenges that were taken care of with no problem.
My guest list continued to grow and 60 days before my wedding I was looking at 200 - 250 instead of the original 180 max I had contracted for. I was so happy that they worked with me to upgrade me to a larger room so that my guests were better accomodated.
My cousin made the cake for the wedding and since I was not having the ceremony at the Waterford (instead I had it in Manassas), the cake needed to be dropped off well in advance (3:00pm for a 5:30 reception). The staff at Waterford was very flexible and worked with me in order for that to happen with no problem.
I only had a minor flop and this was partly my fault for not being more descriptive. The way I wanted my table centerpieces arranged was a little messed up. I think it was just a miscommunication and it really didnt affect my experience. It was a little annoying, but they worked to fix any little detail that I needed taken care of.
The only other little miff I had with them was it wasnt until the last month that I knew who would be working my event. My suggestion would be to make sure you know who your consultant is when you go into the contract.
All in all, my experience was rather good and I enjoyed my event. The food was awesome and the drinks were exceptional. I also enjoyed the level of service we recieved on our special day. I would definitely reccommend to anyone looking for a beautiful facility at a great price!
I booked Harry and his Wife after Harry did some photography for my mom. I chose their highest package (which is cheaper than the lowest package at many other places), and was so pleased with their professionalism and how quickly they got us through our posed pictures after the ceremony. They made sure to get all the important moments and really stayed out of the way. Most of the time I didnt see them and neither did my guests. I got a total of 1200 pictures back that all came out beautiful.
I would definitely reccommend them to anyone else!
I always use the Flower Gallery for all my floral needs so I figured why should my wedding be any different. I have always seen nothing but quality from them and have nver had a problem.
I scheduled my pre-booking meeting to draw up an estimate for my event and I had an idea of what I wanted, but I quickly found out when I got there that I knew nothing. The lady I worked with (Jenny) was very helpful in giving me advice and helping me invision what I wanted.
About 3 months after I booked with them, I had changed my mind/seen other things that I liked so I called them up to schedule another meeting of the minds. Again Jenny was very helpful and changing my items around was absolutely no stress at all.
My flowers on the wedding day were absolutely beautiful. My altar arrangements looked surreal and my bouquet was so fresh and wonderful!
Their prices I thought were a little steep on some things ($65 for 1 dozen red roses hand-tied) but I was willing to pay it and was glad I did. I would definitely reccommend them to everyone... not just for weddings, but for all floral needs.
After a horrible experience at the Woodbridge David's Bridal, I decided to try the one in Springfield because I had heard it was a little better than their Woodbridge location.
The store was very clean and I received an exceptional level of service from my consultant (Jennifer Tripani). She was amazing! She was very good about helping me look at dresses and working with me to find my dream dress. She also worked with me to find dresses for all of my girls. I always felt like I was the only one she was working with, although she typically had 2-4 brides at any given time.
The prices were amazing. My dream dress had be discontinued and was placed on the $99 rack so the value was exceptional! I also loved the fact that since I was a plus-sized bride, I had pleanty of samples for me to actually try on. I dont think that I would buy a dress without trying it on first.
I did have a few issues... I ran into a few times where I couldnt work with Jennifer and I felt the level of service was moderate. I guess that since I worked with such a great consultant initially, it set the barr a little high for everyone else. I do know that they are extremely strict on their policies. I ended up not needing my longline bra and eventhough the seal on the package had not been broken, they would not take it back. That was a little frustrating. I also had a hard time tracking down the status of my girl's dresses. I was also a little dissappointed in the fact that I was discouraged from using their alterations (I wouldnt use them based off of their very poor reviews). I understand that its the nature of the business.
I would reccommend them to brides who would like to try on everything and actually see how you will look in your gown. They are virtually the only salon that carry that many samples. I would also reccommend that you ask when Jennifer Tripani is going to be there any ONLY work with her. She makes that location operate at a certain standard and is an exceptional consultant. All of the dresses were beautiful and the price was unbeatable!
We called Kirkabee's around 5 months out from our wedding after reading fabulous reviews! I originally wanted Kirk to DJ for us, but since we were so late in the game, I knew he wouldnt be available. Kirk assigned us to work with Ron Gray who was absolutely fabulous! When we met with him initially, we all just clicked and we knew it would be a good arrangement.
One of my guests did say that they had an issue with requesting a song, but I didnt really notice an issue with anything and nothing was brought to my attention. Other than that one person, everyone loved the music and Ron's personality. He was really laid back but still kept the party going. He really kept us all on track with the schedule and kept the dance floor packed.
He was really flexible with our song selections and was very easy to get in touch with if I had a question. I could also call Kirk with any questions and he was very good about answering them too.
If we need a DJ for another event or party, I will definitely be calling Kirkabee's again.
I received a catalog from The American Wedding Album from a friend who used them with great success. I found many designs and prints that I loved but finally settled on the perfect wedding invitations.
I never actually spoke to an actual person, but I could if I needed to speak with someone. I didnt have a problem with anything. My invitations and save the dates came so quickly and they were so beautiful. The prices were exceptional! I really dont think I could have found a better value anywhere else!
I ordered a lot with them and was pleased with everything we received. I ordered about 5000 rose petals and other misc stuff for favors. Their prices were soo low and the product was of high quality! I didnt have a problem with them and everything came very quickly. My family had used them for my graduation party and we loved them then! I never had to speak with customer service but their website was easy to use!
