Westover Country Club was a perfect choice for the ceremony and reception in our opinion. Not only did the package include centerpieces, decor, the cake, etc., but the woman who helped us arrange everything was amazing. Nicolle Jarvis made planning a wedding fun and easy because she was so flexible and understanding during a pretty stressful time! On the day, she provided directions for everyone so that the event would go as smoothly as it could, and it all progressed beautifully and naturally. I would recommend Westover Country Club to anyone who is looking for a package deal at an amazing price, who is looking to take some beautiful pictures (they have a wonderful gazebo which provided a great backdrop for some really great pictures for us!), and is looking for an understanding and professional staff to help make a wedding day something very special indeed.
David's Bridal is a great place to go for a relatively nice dress at an affordable price. But the service at this David's Bridal is less than par. I have gone to a couple of David's Bridal's in three different states and the one in Yonkers is always the one I dread going to. First, it's always extremely busy. Second, the staff act like they really don't want to be there. Because they have so many people to deal with all at once, it's very difficult to get undivided attention. I sort of regret going to David's Bridal for my dress, but I wanted to spend less money on the dress so I could spend more money on other things and David's Bridal had the best prices in town for the dress I wanted. I only wish I had gone to a more intimate place so that i would have had more privacy to try on dresses and more attention to my and my mom's needs. However, if you're a person who can be in and out of a store quickly, David's Bridal is both convenient and affordable.

DJ Steve Vazquez was amazing! Intuitive, professional, and considerate! We found picking music to be very overwhelming, but it was easy using the Silver Sound website. We weren't sure which music would be best for different parts of the wedding but DJ Steve somehow knew exactly how we envisioned the music we would be happy with. I would definitely recommend him and the whole Silver Sound business.
A.C. Moore is such an affordable place to get beautiful favors and accessories for a wedding! We also bought the cake topper, giftbox cage, and attendant gifts at A.C. Moore. We saved so much money going to store like this as opposed to a strictly bridal store, such as David's Bridal. And the quality of the items were exactly the same!
Taya was the perfect officiant! She helped us make our ceremony beautiful. She was extremely understanding and sensitive to our needs and her service was very affordable. I would definitely recommend Taya as your officiant.
