We had our cocktail hour, reception and block of rooms at the Washington Marriott and it was fabulous! The staff there made all our requests a reality and their attention to detail was unbelievable. Marcela was our event planner and she was so on the ball and responsive through the whole process that I never even had a chance to get stressed out. She worked with all our vendors directly and we basically just showed up on the day of our wedding and had a great party. All our guests raved about the hotel and the customer service they received the entire weekend. I highly recommend this hotel for your event and it was the best decision we made! So stress-free and professional and we were able to actually enjoy our day instead of working with 10 different vendors or stressing out the wedding party because they had to work with the different vendors all day. We all relaxed and let Marcela take over.

We used Da Vinci's for our wedding and reception flowers and I was very happy with them. The bouquets and boutannaires turned out beautiful and the church flowers were big yet understated which was perfect. The reception flowers didn't turn out 100% the way I wanted them to and my only suggestion for that is ask if they will put together an example for you prior to the wedding. They were going off a picture and description I gave them which could easily be interpreted the way they did. Overall, very good value for the money. There were some communication issues as I believe they work with 2 different email addresses but Diana was always very quick to respond if I left her a message via Weddingwire or her personal email address. I recommend using this florist for your wedding but be sure to be as detailed as possible about what you want.

We used creative cakes as part of our hotel reception package and we were happy with them for the most part. They are not like the bakeries you see on all the wedding shows where they fawn all over you and you get a private tasting but their process is efficient nonetheless and you get a decent cake. I sent them a picture and we got a cake we wanted. Only issue is they deviated from the picture which I did not approve and by the time I saw the cake at the reception, it was too late. Luckily, their deviation didn't hurt the appearance of the cake and it still looked and tasted great. I would recommend working with them if you don't want an over-the-top, fancy cake.

I really enjoyed working with P Lawrence. Beth gave me a great price for an off-the-rack Maggie S. dress and everyone at the wedding could not believe how beautiful the dress was. I myself couldn't get over it either...I wish I could wear that dress every day now! My only complaint is the alterations seemed to be really expensive but I could be wrong. My dress had a lot of detail and she did do a great job. My dress fit me like a glove and I didn't even have to wear any crazy undergarments to hold things in and squeeze things this way and that way so she knew what she was doing, for sure. I recommend using them if you have a little room in your budget. If you want to splurge on anything, it's the dress because you have to wear it ALL DAY and you really need to feel pretty yet be comfortable. The staff was all really friendly and accomodating when I was there for my fittings, etc.

Jake was so great!!! Of all our vendors, he got the most compliments from our guests. Our dancefloor was always packed and to be honest, as the bride I got a little in trouble with the families because I spent the whole night dancing instead of visiting with our guests. Every time I thought about leaving the dancefloor, he would play another great song! He is very organized and responsive and helped us pick out all the songs we needed for the first dances, cake cutting, etc. I highly recommend using him for your event. You can't go wrong!

Loved our invitations and accompanying stationary from Wedding Paper Divas. They have a lot of unique styles and their website is really easy to use. They also edit your stationary before printing so they catch some things most people miss. They are a little pricey but it's worth it.

This company was great for our wedding. They gave us a complimentary upgrade to the Chrysler limo for our wedding and the driver was outstanding all day. He showed up on time and worked with our vendors directly instead of using us as the middle man the day of our wedding. It was a very rainy day and he actually even followed us around with an umbrella during pictures so we wouldn't get wet and when we were covered up, he followed the photographer around with the umbrella so she wouldn't get wet. His customer service was unbelievable. From start to finish, this company was great to deal with and the cost was very reasonable!

Kara and Yasin were great! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup the day of the wedding and both held up until the end of the day. Yasin was able to do my hair exactly the way I wanted it in both the trial run and the day of the wedding and Kara made changes to my wedding day makeup based off comments I made at the trial run. They were both very flexible and responsive to all my questions and concerns. Only thing I would change is my lipstick. It was off by the middle of the reception and I wish I would have used one of those permanent lipsticks. I look a little washed out in some of the photos later in the evening.
