Lisa & Sean

We met many many many years ago, 18 to be precise.  But we were too young and caught up in our youth to realize what we had at that time.  Through these long years searching for each other was a constant task, many ob-stakles seemed to be in place and we were only a friend apart.  Well we have found each other again in 2009 and those special warm fuzzy feelings were stronger than ever and we realized that we were meant to be together.  So here we are together again and making the most of this thing called life.  Having so much fun and enjoying everyday to the fullest.  Being a true companion and a best friend.  They say you have only one true soul mate in every life, and if you can be lucky enough, or wise enough to find them... hold on tight, never let go and fight for them till the end!  That's exactly what we are doing. Our Engagement Story Sean had planned to take me out for a special dinner at our favorite little seafood joint in Point Pleasant - Salty's. When we went for our evening walk is where Sean thought he would propose.  However the summer season was at an end and the famous Salty's was closed.  Still determined to have a great dinner, we compromised and went to Spikes.  It was a very nice dinner and we shared great conversation.  The night air was bitter cold and the wind was strong, we were on the boardwalk having our usual night walk.  Sean seemed to be looking for the perfect spot, where the moon on the ocean was sparkling just right and when his nerves would settle enough for him to ask his question.  Spring Lake corner of Ocean Avenue and Brooklyn Street... this is where Sean proposed to me.  So there on the corner of Ocean and Brooklyn, he got on one knee, held my hand, looked deeply into my eyes and ask me to marry him.  It was romantic, it was special, it was real.  Something the two of us had been searching for, for so many years was finally right here.  I with teary eyes, accepted his proposal and we embraced.  We wanted the moment to last forever... but we were freezing and ran to the car to get out of the icy cold shore night air.  This night was the beginning of the glorious journey the two of us so intently desired and searched for.
