Verandas was the perfect place for us to get married. The venue is beautiful, from the waterfall and pond, to the dining room, to the gorgeous ocean views, it was eveything we wanted and needed in a venue. We loved working with Verandas' helpful and friendly staff, and were grateful that they made our wedding-planning experience so effortless. They provided us with a list of preferred vendors that really made it easy to book all of our vendors because we knew that we couldn't go wrong with anyone that Verandas recommended. The event was picture-perfect and went off without a hitch. We would definitely recommend Verandas to anyone wanting a wedding with a cool, comfortable elegance, while being classy AND beachy all at the same time!

The floral arrangements at our wedding were absolutely spectacular. I gave my general preferences to Cynthia--colors, types of flowers I liked, size and shape of arrangements and boquets, and she did the rest. She worked within our budget and the result was fabulous. She used two of the arrangements during the ceremony outside and then moved them inside for the reception to get the most out of our flowers and money. I would defnitely recommend Flower Art From Our Heart to other brides.
The ladies who work at Jobyna's were so patient and enthusiastic when I went in to try on dresses. Their seamstress was great, although I found the simple work she did on my dress to be far overpriced. In retrospect, I would definitely buy my dress from Jobyna's again, but would have it altered elsewhere.
I looked into booking a DJ from DJs to go and was disappointed in their prices. Once I politely told them I had gone another direction, they did not stop emailing me. I do not think they intentionally bombarded me, but simply did not have a system for emailing prospective clients that worked properly. I had to email them three times telling them that I had already booked another DJ before the mass emails stopped. I was disappointed with them from the start because their prices seemed to be inflated and I ended up finding a DJ for hundreds of dollars less than they quoted.
Steve Irons was a wonderful DJ. He kept our musical requests in mind and provided appropriate music for our wedding. He even took last-minute requests! He was great to work with, always responded promptly to my emails, and was generally upbeat and pleasant to be around or talk to.
