First of all, this place is GORGEOUS! I got so many compliments about how picturesque everything was. My friends called it a "Corona Commercial" because of how stunning the views, ocean, and hotel itself was. I can't imagine how this place could have been better. As a true testament to how perfect of a venue this was for a destination wedding, our guests didn't leave the hotel ALL weekend. There was that much to do. Ah, it was perfect!
Our coordinator, Christy, was 100% with me every step of the way. She was so great about working with me all the way form Ohio. I kept changing my mind about things I wanted or didn't want, and she was always so patient with me. We customized many aspects of our wedding and reception, and they assisted with every single step. Christy kept me calm and even sent us a heartfelt congratulations letter that she left in our honeymoon suite.
The food was fantastic! I ate a little of everything but not too much of anything because I was too excited! The serving staff went above and beyond to make sure my guests were happy. Honestly, I’ve never heard so many compliments about a location before. Everything went perfect. I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue for anyone with a wedding of less than 75 people. One word to sum it up: PERFECT.
Emily was by far the best choice for a photographer!!! Her photojournalistic style was exactly what we wanted, and she just really seemed to understand us and the vision we had for our wedding. She was so quick and responsive through the whole process, and I was amazed that she had our photos up less than 48 hours after our wedding. Unbelievable! She captured so many candid shots that were so touching. She was just so fun and easy to work with, and we have some unreal pictures! I keep looking at our slideshow in disbelief that that bride is actually me! I love that she captured so many shots that we had no idea she was taking! And she also went above and beyond by setting up all of her equipment on the beach at night when my husband and I decided to have an impromptu late night swim! She is just marvelous, and just a genuinely nice person. I would wholeheartedly recommend her, she has a true gift!!!
I LOVED my wedding flowers! Jack was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. I contacted 4 florists, and her quote was the lowest and most substantial. She always responded quickly, and was super sweet. The flowers turned out even better than I expected. My bouquet was especially phenomenal, and the calla lilies for our centerpieces were even bigger and grander than I expected. The flowers made everything look so elegant. I would definitely recommend J. Morgan for wedding flowers. In a word: BEAUTIFUL.
We changed E.C. about 1.5 months before the wedding because I wasn't loving our initial choice for cakes. Lily created exactly what we wanted. The cake itself was DELICIOUS.This company was great to work with. They definitely have much lower prices than other S. Florida cake vendors. My recommendation though, being a dessert lover, is to NOT get fondant icing. No matter how good the baker, fondant just does not taste good, and guests picked around that part and just ate the middle. Yes, it looks way fancier than buttercream icing, but in hindsight I wish we had chosen that instead. But nonetheless, the cake looked fabulous and was great. One word: YUMMY!
Henri's Cloud Nine Bridal Shop Minerva, Ohio 44657
I purchased my beautiful Pronovias wedding gown from Henri's. They are one of only two bridal stores in Ohio that carries that line, and I instantly fell in love with my dress. I went to 10 other places, but no other stores had the unique selection of dresses that Henri's had (and the range of prices were quite good). The two girls I worked with when purchasing my gown were very friendly (can't remember their names) and this is a great bridal store.
The only downside: I paid an extra $125 to have my dress ordered in floor length since I didn't want to wear heels. Well, dress comes in, and it was over an inch too long. So I used the seamstress who works across the street since she has a partnership with Henri's. She put some pins in and I came back a month later to pick up the dress. The bottom was crooked. I freaked out, because, well, my wedding dress was crooked. I ended up having to come back (and make the 6 hour round trip drive) two more times until the dress was in proper length. The bottom ended up not looking great, but at that point I didn't care. Moral of the story: If you have a trusted seamstress, use her!
Great vendor! Their online planning system was so fun and easy and convenient to work with. We didn't find out who our DJ would be until the week before the wedding, and he didn't call until the Wednesday before the wedding, which might have upset me, but we had such a simple wedding with very limited instructions so it wasn't a big deal. He did everything exactly the way we wanted and he definitely kept everyone on the dance floor all night. I mean, literally everyone! If people would start to sit down, he would play another song to get people moving again. It was such a blast! He even mixed the beginning and ends of songs to give it kind of a dance club feel. There may have been a song we requested that he didn't play, but honestly I can't remember and it was so much fun that it was all worth it. Great vendor and highly recommended. One word: FUN!

We hired a solo guitarist to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. He was phenomenal! Hearing him strumming Canon in D was the initial thing that started the mess of tears before I even saw my husband. I didn't get to hear him play at cocktail hour, but my friends told me he did a great job. MFA also gave me a rate that was $150 lower than the other two companies I got quotes from. I have no complaints about this vendor and was very pleased with their services.
Rev. Arlene was a joy to work with!!! She was so sweet and communicative. She helped us customize our ceremony, and provided us with a rough draft beforehand and gave us a copy of the ceremony to keep. Though I was a blubbering mess during the ceremony, the words that I could understand were beautiful! From what I could see, there were alot of tears in the audience, so I take that to be a good sign. She did a great job and I would definitely recommend her! She made our wedding ceremony MEMORABLE, and is one of the sweetest people I've ever met!

Dina was fantastic!! She was so sweet and fun to work with. I gave her a picture of the hairstyle I wanted and she was able to recreate it exactly! Also, her makeup application was amazing. She went lighter on the foundation which make my skin look smooth but not cakey, and she made my eyes really POP. My makeup stayed on all night, and as a true testament to the quality of her hair and makeup expertise, after my husband and I took our post wedding dip into the ocean, I kid you not, I went UNDERWATER twice and my hair and makeup stayed put. My friends were in shock, as was I. It looked like my makeup hadn't moved from when I had gotten it done that afternoon. She was fantastic, and I would highly recommend her
My husband purchased my engagement and wedding bands at Jewelry Art, and I don't think a week goes by without strangers complementing me on my beautiful rings! He chose this store because of their ability to custom make jewelry, and they did not disappoint! When we went to look at rings together, Barbara was so wonderful to work with. It was such an exciting time for us, and she really did make us feel special. I highly recommend Precision Set for bridal jewelry, and I DEFINITELY recommend Jewelry Art for their customer service and unique selection.
