despite doubling its prices in april 2007, i would not have my wedding anywhere else.

+ beautiful location (modern)
+ free parking
+ very professional
+ large venue up to 430 people
+ lots of extra rooms to rent for the kids (i had a kiddie room so parents could feel free to bring along their children; i just rented the the tv/dvd player and had a few adults supervise while kids ate pizza and watched a movie. oh, i also had goodie bags for them and a balloon maker)
+ can bring outside caterers

- very strict
- expensive due to the doubling of prices

silver service was exactly what we were looking for . . . a flexible, affordable catering company who could work with 430 guests. worked exclusively with jerry and he was wonderful. he had tons of ideas and was professional and flexible. the whole evening went smoothly. i would definitely use silver service again. as far as the food, it's average tasting but for feeding 430 guests, it worked out great! also, we rented everything from them: linens, silverware, heating lamps, etc.

ontario bakery was perfect for us, a couple who didn't prioritize a wedding cake b/c the main attraction was a dessert bar. we ordered a three tier cake as well as 3 flat sheets to feed 400 people. we only spent $300! amazing, huh? the taste was o.k. but no one really cared b/c the dessert bar was a HIT!

although i didn't rent from this exact friar's tuxedo (i rented the groomsmen tux from the moreno valley store), i had somewhat of a positive experience with them although i was surprised how expensive all the rentals came out to be. i found a coupon in one of the wedding magazines so i decided to go with them. the moreno valley location was most central for all the groomsmen. no problems but their selection wasn't as expanse as i would have liked it. even with the coupon, the tuxedos came out to be $125 a piece; however, we got the groom's tux for free plus a $100 gift card to bed, bath and beyond. so i guess in the end it wasn't that bad. but we did rent 6 tuxedos. (4 groomsmen, 1 groom, and 1 for the father-in-law)
