Our Story

Ohh where to start..LOL..me and my FH have been together for five years with some bumps and rough egdes along the way like any couple. We have a beautiful 6 month old daughter named Nya.
        My FH and I met over six years ago when I lived in California and he had come from Las vegas for school. We actually met over the internet when I was looking for information on the school he was attending and they had a make new friends website. His profile popped up I simply asked "So how's Moorpark?" He wrote me back and we became fast friends. The day I actually met him in person was during the summer, I had given him the wrong directions to my house and had him driving all over the world for the better part of an hour. I remember him finally finding my house as I stood on the steps waiting for him and this super tall 6'7 man steps out the car looking like he was ready to kill someone (maybe due to the fact that is was the middle of summer 105 out and he didnt have an air conditioner in his car and had been driving all around trying to find my place) But I just kept thinking "OK if he trys to kill you just yell really really loud" He walked over and towerd over me, I had this awkward smile on my face and the first thing I said was "Ummm it's kinda hot out here isn't it?"..LOL..couldn't think of anything else to say.
       And then he smiled and laughed. And I swear I saw beauty it's self he was so handsome!!! And from then on out we became the best of friends. He injuryed himself playing football and moved back to Las Vegas and I was so upset. No more going to the movies, long talks, and laughs. After he left we both knew we had feelings that went way beyond friendship. I LOVED HIM..LOL..so we threw caution to the wind and I moved to be with him and the rest is history
            BUT I'M SO HAPPY TO SAY I'M GETTING TO MARRY MY BEST FRIEND!! (Oh and I never ended up attending Moorpark College but almost does count for something after all..LOL)

The Ring

I actually have no idea what my ring looks like. We went ring shopping about 6 months ago and I picked out a few that I liked and he did the same and we promised that we wouldn't see the rings until the day of the wedding. Luckily we've both had our ring fingers sized or the idea sure wouldn't be working...lol

Our Planning Experience

Has been stressful and so exciting all at the same time. I'm just looking forward to the wonderful outcome so that I can step back and enjoy it.

Our Advice

1.Be true to your self when planning your wedding. You and your FH is all that matters. Going around trying to make sure everyone else is happy will only give you a headache and stress.

2. Love each other and agree to disagree sometimes is OK to do when your planning your wedding
