Chris, you might explain your DJ techniques pertaining to the playlist you use for the evening, up front. We worried too much about the reception playlist, whereas we could have only selected ceremony music and key songs for the reception. Would have made it easier for us. Overall, you did a great job and we agree, it was a lot of fun!

Chris Lewis: Master of Ceremonies responded with the the following comments:
Ken and his bride planned one of the most beautiful and enjoyable wedding/receptions I have ever had the pleasure to MC/DJ. Their friends and family were an absolute joy to entertain. I am very pleased that Ken has offered his review and that he shares his honesty of my services. To explain the situation a little further (this may help future clients), when meeting with clients I often state that my repertoire consists of over 60 thousand selections of music, with this number increasing regularly, keeping a running list of this music is not economical benefit. Also, having a client review 60 thousand selections would be very time consuming, and possibly add confusion in the midst all your plans. Therefore I explain how guidelines from the bride and groom and allowing the DJ to gauge the crowd will lend success to your event. This does not mean that I will not create custom play lists for your event, or that I will not timeline every song you would like to have played; after all, I work for you. However, I do not see the value added and do not prefer to DJ an event this way. As a professional Master of Ceremonies I feel the main focus of today?s wedding/reception is more about professionalism, knowing how to direct the spotlight on the bride and groom, and orchestrating a flawless/seamless event; and as a DJ, the main focus is to allow the music to entertain guests without stepping away from the guidelines of the bride and groom.

Nevertheless, Ken?s wedding & reception was flawless, beautiful, and very memorable.
