This place was way out in the country so it was hard for guests to locate it. I don't think it was worth the drive because it wasn't as spectacular as I thought it would be.

Oakland Farm and Ranch responded with the the following comments:
Oakland is very easy to find if you have good directions. We are out in the peace and quiet of the country, but still 20 minutes from the Woodland and Willowbrook,less that 5 minutes from FM249 and less than 5 minutes from FM 2920. Charles did not have a wedding here at Oakland on August 9, 2007 (that was a Thursday). The weddings here at Oakland are very magical, but you have to experience them before it can be judged. I have 100's of Brides and Grooms that can testify to the magic here at Oakland.

They did a wonderful job on my wife's dress and she said they were very helpful when she was looking at the ones that she liked at their store.

They gave me a great deal for the engagement ring. Also their customer service is phenomenal and they give you a lifetime guarantee on your product as long as you bring it in to their store once every 6 months to get it cleaned and inspected for free.
