Upon 1st visiting Los Encinos I was very happy. Everything seemed like it was going to be so easy. However, as the wedding approached I began to worry. I was told that everything would be set up for me. 2 days before the wedding I was at the venue having to set the tables. Bertha, the owner of the venue, did not show up for my rehearsal. How were we supposed to know what was normal practice for wedding day? I was also worried b/c the grass had not been cut in what looked like weeks. When I asked her about it I was told it would be mowed in the morning, THE DAY OF THE WEDDING! What if it had rained? Then I was supposed to just have knee high grass to great my guests? On the day of the wedding my wedding party was moving tables that were supposed to be moved by the employees of the venue. Bertha showed up approximately 30 min before my ceremony and moved everything back, even though my contract stated that they should have been where we placed them. The icing on the cake was the an 11 year old girl found a twisty tie in her pasta, and when Bertha was approached about it by the girl's mother, she took it from her hand and said, "Don't worry about it!" and walked away!!! Not only is that unsanitary, but she could have swallowed it. I was so unhappy with Los Encinos. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Also be aware that Bertha owns another venue that is an Italian Villa...I would stay away from that place as well.

I am so happy to be writing this review. Leah of Ever After photography is not only very professional, she is also extremely friendly. She really seems to go the extra mile to insure you are happy with what she is doing for you. Leah is very good about telling you what you should expect from her, so there are no surprises. One of the things that I liked most about Leah was that she made me feel comfortable at a time when it was very easy to be stressed.
Working with Leah on my wedding and bridal portraits was only the beginning for me. Since my wedding Leah has photographed me while I was pregnant, my baby @ the hospital the day after she was born, and done another photo shoot for us when she was 3 weeks old. I am 100% committed to using her for all my photography needs from now on.
I have recommended Ever After photography many times since 1st using them. I would suggest that you not only call them, but you do it right away.

Bisli did a wounderful job on my flowers. I had interviewed a few other florisits and she was the best bang for the buck. She even brought me an extra bouquet b/c she had extra flowers left. I highly recomend using her.

THEY HAVE BEAUTIFUL AFFORDABLE DRESSES. THE SERVICE WAS WOUNDERFUL. I AM NOW ACTUALLY GOOD FRIENDS W/ THE GIRL WHO SOLD ME MY DRESS. SHE REMEBERED ME EVERY TIME I CAME IN, AND COULD PULL MY DRESS W/O EVEN LOOKING TO SEE WHICH ONE I GOT. THAT MADE ME FEEL VERY SPECIAL.

I loved having my hair done at Regis. All of my maids had their hair done there, too. B/C of that they did my hair for only $30. Instead of setting appointmets for each of us, they gave us 3 hair dressers who just knocked us out one after another. I would highly recomend going there.
