We had a great reception here. Everyone went out of their way to make it a perfect night; even with our many requests throughout the process. The price was great for the DC area, because it includes everything! I would recommend adding some decorations for the chairs, and some other features to make it unique. The only reason they did not get a 5 in all categories is because the bartender was not great (but lots of good alcohol included), and they were not always flexible in the set up if you were bringing your own stuff, overall almost perfect though.

We looked at tons of photographers in the area and all were either not good or waaay more expensive than Jon. He came up from the Hampton Roads area and we had to cover his hotel for the two nights and it was still significantly cheaper than any in the DC area. He was very responsive throughout the whole process leading up to the wedding and remembered all the names I provided in advance. He gave great feedback during the photo shoots and kept things moving along. I've heard of other weddings where the photographer takes too much of your time and bothers you; he was taking all the necessary photos without monopolizing our time in any way. His photos are amazing, he was recommended by 2 of our friends. Would recommend him to anyone!

Flowers were very unique for the bouquets, and at a very reasonable price as well compared to others in the DC area.

The cake looked exactly like we wanted and was beautiful in every way. Usually wedding cakes are just for show, but everyone loved the taste of this one because of the light frosting used. We went in many times with requests and to change things and they were always responsive. Also, much cheaper than anywhere else we checked, even large less nice places like walmart.

We had originally booked them for our DJ because they were recommended by the knot. But as SOON as they took our non-refundable deposit they went from nice to non-existent. They assigned us to DJ Keith and he refused to meet with us (he said thats the way he does business) and he wouldn't return our phone calls/emails for weeks! We had to finally call his manager who then apologized and said that DJs are known to be unresponsive so thats just the way the business is run. They said he was only going to call us the week before the wedding and he was unprofessional. The quality of service was SO terrible that we dropped them a few days before the wedding and we lost our deposit. But it was so worth it because we went with Chris Laich DJs and they met with us in person that week before and talked through EVERYTHING with us: how to pronounce names, how we wanted things introduced, etc. and he gave us tips on how a reception is typically run as far as music. It was SUCH a vast difference and I am so relieved that I dropped the Pros last minute.

Maybe they have other DJs there that are good but do NOT GET KEITH he is unresponsive and terrible.

They just don't seem to care about your wedding. Your wedding is just another one of the many and they don't have time for any of your questions. They tell you not to worry and that things will work out the day of but they give NO reassurance otherwise.

Here is the exact email I wrote to him after our wedding. We had 2 unresponsive, awful DJs before him, some of which were recommended on theknot.com even:
Just want to let you know quickly how great your performance was.
Literally everyone could not stop talking about how perfect your song
transitions were and how you built the music up to keep the dancing
going. I have not been to a wedding that had that much participation
and happiness on a dance floor. I also heard of a few requests you
complied with and a few you didn't. The ones you didn't I completely
agreed with (one of which you asked me during the slow songs while
eating dinner if we could play fast music like someone requested,
which was a terrible idea, so thanks for that). You worked with the
slide show, my change of plans during the night, did everything you
could to keep my stress level at a minimum, much of which was not even
something you had to do as a DJ. I will definitely be passing you and
your company along to others. Your really bailed me out of a tough
situation. Let me know what I can do to post a glowing review or
positive feedback on a website or recommendation somewhere. Thanks
again!
