My coordinator Yale is absolutely amazing. Throughout the process she was very responsive and always pleased to help and work with me. The day of she was helpful making sure everyone was where they needed to be and even helped pin my dress when I realized one of my bustle hooks wasn?t there.
The venue itself is beautiful, and I couldn?t have chosen a better location. The food was delicious, cake was awesome, both tasty and they designed it exactly how we wanted. Bartenders and wait staff were friendly. When we decided to extend the wedding an additional hour they had no problems and worked with us.
The day after the wedding we went to pick everything up and they had boxed up all the remaining cake (4 boxes!) and our meals that we hadn?t finished because we wanted to go and visit with our guests. It was nice to have my leftovers Sunday afternoon before going to the airport.
Tender Images was my absolute favorite vendor. Matt was just a joy to work with, and his wife Rachel is just as sweet as can be. Leading up to the wedding Matt was very responsive. He took our engagement photos and we got to know him a little then.
Matt agreed to come and shoot at our rehearsal and then we invited him to our rehearsal dinner. He fit right in with the family and friends.
On the day of the wedding he was there early enough to get our getting ready photos, shots of my girls and we even went downtown in Annapolis and walked around to get some shots in the streets. He was willing to do anything, including going into the Fudge Shop so I could get my free fudge sample.
Rachel went and took photos of the guys getting ready, and according to my husband they had a lot of fun.
At the ceremony and reception they captured everything, including the details of everything I worked hard on. In terms of posed photos, Matt was very good about getting everything done quickly and efficiently so we didn?t have to spend all day doing photos.
During the reception if we had a special photo request Matt was easy to find and more than willing to take whatever photo was needed.
When we extended the wedding an extra hour, Matt and Rachel were more than willing to stay the extra hour, even with no notice.
I worked with Kim leading up to the wedding. She was very responsive, and the only one able to work with my extremely small budget. The flowers were gorgeous, and everyone loved them.
Two of my girls got their dresses at Pearls Place, while the other two got theirs at local bridal shops. The girls had no issues with their dresses, they saved money and the dresses came in weeks earlier than they were told originally.

The customer service was outstanding while dress hunting and also after I had purchased the dress. They had a wide selection of dresses and I was more than pleased with the service I received. All my alterations were done at the shop and they were more than happy to meet with me multiple times.
Larry was an absolute joy to work with. He had our vision, and was very responsive leading up to and on the day of the wedding. He played all the songs we requested and had everyone dancing the entire night. His wife came and helped out as well.
They were about 5 or 10 minutes late do to traffic, but it wasn?t that big of a deal. The driver was professional and came in and made sure I was hidden in the church and helped with anything I needed. She laid out a red carpet for me to walk out of the limo as well. I think the website said something about complimentary champagne after the wedding. We had brought our own, so I?m not sure if they had any that they would have provided.
Historic Inns Of Annapolis Annapolis, Maryland 21401
The Historic Inns of Annapolis owns 3 hotels in Annapolis, The Governor Calvert House, The Robert Johnson House, and The Maryland Inn. Back in January we made reservations for a suite in The Governor Calvert House. We were notified a short while later that they messed up our reservation and double booked. We were given the option of a two story townhouse which was part of The Robert Johnson House. We ended up liking this better, so we were fine with the switch. I went to look at it and it was very spacious, with two full baths and a downstairs for getting ready, and the bedroom upstairs. Since Hair and Makeup were coming to us space was definitely needed.
Friday evening (around 7 or 8) after the rehearsal dinner my husband and I went to check in. I was spending Friday night with my sisters and figured it would just be easier to check in now, and then my sisters and I could bring our stuff from the Doubletree over later. I was told that our reservations had been canceled and the place had been given to someone else. They stated that it was canceled that afternoon and the woman that canceled it was on a plane and couldn't be reached. The only note in their computer system was change of plans.
I find it hard to believe that someone just happened to need a two story townhouse and asked about it the day that it was randomly canceled. I still don?t know what happened, but either way, they messed up and they informed us that legally they couldn't kick out the individuals staying there. I fought, cried and asked them to talk to the individuals in the room. They said they did, and they wouldn't leave. They gave us a room at The Maryland Inn, a nice suite, about 1/3 of the size and they gave it to us for free. Yes it was nice to save the money, but I had to call all my vendors (hair/makeup, florist, photographer and limo) all after 8 at this point and give them a new address. Plus I had less space for my girls and I to get ready. It still pisses me off when I think about it.
