Christmas Canon

by Trans Siberian Orchestra
Album: Christmas Canon
Genre: Traditional

Listen on iTunes

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas

The hope that he brings
The hope that he brings
The hope that he brings
The hope that he brings

This night
We pray
Our lives
Will show

This dream
He had
Each child
Still knows

We are waiting
We have not forgotten

On this night
On this night
On this very Christmas night

Adrian says...
this is an amazing song and i believe it breaks from tradition a little bit. Too bad i wasnt having a christmas wedding

cupcakebride says...
I would love have an instrumental version of this & maybe people wouldn't notice?

Katie says...
This is the song I am using for my wedding in May. We deleted the words from the song and just took the instumental version. It sounds great!!

Amanda says...
How did you delete the words?! My fiance and I want to use this too!!

Nicole says...
Same here. I like this version but would like it without the singing. Where did you find that version? We are having a Christmas wedding but I'm not so sure about the singing. Thanks!

Katie says...
This is just a rock and roll version of Beethoven's Ode to Joy, with new words

Kiesha says...
i've been looking for this song!!! yay!!

Future Mrs. Freeman!! says...

Lindsey says...
This song is the exact same song as Pachebel's Canon in D!
Pachebel's Canon is the one that doesn't have the words to it!

Danielle says...
I've wanted this song too!!! Thank you!!!

Christen says...
I am so glad to see others using this song too. i just love this song and it will be Great for my Christmas Beach Wedding!!

K & J 15' says...
Just love STO, especially this version. Would love to use it in my fall wedding dance songs, but without the words.

Bryan says...
We're doing the "Christmas Cannon Rock" version because Christmas Cannon is just the Cannon in D that most people use for a wedding march... the rock version has a bad ass touch.

Sara says...
We are using the Rock version because the lyrics are not in the beginning. Just enough time for me to walk down the isle before the words start.
