Why did you pick what you picked? :)

ok..so im babysitting today and my cousin is already asleep (hes 2), which now makes me bored!!!
So i was wondering why did you choose the colors youre using in your wedding...for your wedding? :)
oh and just fyi (NWR): dont bring yoplait yogurts to eat and bring a spoon thats too big :( it doesnt work out well! (plus all my aunts spoons are in the dishwasher!!) thatsss just my luck :/

oh and my colors are orange and purple..lots of dif shades of them! i loveee orange! and purple is its compliment..they look soo good together!!

Green, Yellow, and Pink (different shades). I was looking for summer colors. I saw a beatiful bouquet on the internet with these colors (it will be my bouquet.) I want lots of colorful flowers (potted plants for center pieces and hanging baskets.) Green is my FH favorite color which ties in with the leaves. He allowed me to choose pink as a secondary color after me begging.

haha my FH said no pink (i'll sneak it in there somewhere tho!) i like those colors, my wedidng is in the summer too! (actually the day before yours!) Those colors will make your wedding look sooo bright! how pretty :)

red white and blue.... it just ties into the the 4th of july thing lol. and red and blue are two of my favorite colors. and my one little flower girl just loved the red on the white dress she picked out. she was just so excited when she saw that dress so i was like ok.... flower girls get red and white dresses, bm and gm get blue i get all white lol. fh is getting black with blue vest and red rose.

Well for decor colors I chose my venue first and then worked with what would look best within the space. For my bouquet and shoe colors I just chose the lightest hint of pink because it's soft and feminine and "me" since I had pink streaks in my hair for many years, LOL...I really did not set out with choosing "my colors" the way most brides do and had no answer when someone would ask what my colors are. hhmm, guess I'm weird

I know what you mean Whitni, FH said no pink... (Why are some guys so insecure with pink, I mean girls are not inscure with blue.... LOL) Anyways, we are doing Red and Champagne (or gold) Good luck! Your colors sound cool!:)

I think they were my favorite colors. Colors that draw me in and look like my style. Black/White/Pink.

ya know it's funny, when we went to look at invitations I thought we'd go with champagne and black or something like that really simple and elegant. I liked the pink ones but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to force my husband into pink invites and I knew he'd go with what I wanted if I said it. But as we're looking through some samples he says "Ya know, call me crazy but I really love the pink and black together!" haha! I was so excited and could finally admit that I loved them too but wasn't saying it. So we ended up with pink and black invites. We just looked at samples of EVERYTHING and chose the colors as we went along for what we thought looked best for EACH thing.

Blue, black, and white are our colors. The blue will be in different shades. We picked blue because it's up there on both of our top favorite colors list, then I think black just looks very sleek and nice with blue (unless we're talking bruises. but for decorations, very nice)

I love purple. DH hates it. So we picked brown with a few purple and ivory accents. It was a compromise.

I love pink/black laura! I wanted orange in my wedding somewhere and love brown/green. Our wedding was in the fall so it was perfect.

Well I had always dreamed about having a brown and pink wedding. Love the two combo's but, sadly like most FH's said absolutely NO PINK. So I said how about brown and blue. He said no again! (can't wait till we have kids guess what there room colors will be...lol)Then it was Blue and Silver, he said O.K Then DB silver looks gray yyuukk! So it ended up being blue and yellow. Realized it was his favorite college team colors and then finally mixed it up a bit to dk blue, lt blue, cream and lt yellow. Hope it ends up looking elegant and fancy, cause thats what I want my final product to look. "I'm a boring girl, dreaming in a fancy/classy world"

We are doing a sunflower yellow (darker yellow instead of bright) and coral. It's going to be outside during summer so I wanted bright colors.

aww laura you arent weird..youre you!! :) @Jdog..i loveee pink black and white! my bedroom in college was done that way!!! (with lots of stars! lol) @ red i lovee those colors...very elegant sounding! @arlala thats funny about the kids room! we'll have the same argument! haha...and thats funny about those being his fav teams colors! it will look absolutely great! :) @teamch...yellow in the summer is soo perfect! we'll have some yellow to brighten our orange..not much! @amy c : cornflower blue is awesome! ive seen so many weddings with that color..and they looked amazing! good luck :)

My venue has so much red and gold I just went with it and added ivory to the mix for unifomity.

Ours are plum, ivory & chocolate. I originally was going to do red (a deep red) and ivory, but then I found the prettiest purple dress for my daughter to wear. Since she's our only attendant, I changed the wedding colors to fit her dress and couldn't be happier. :)

my moms the same way. purple is also a color because she suggested it, it was a color in her wedding, so i figured to put a smile on her face i would include it too! ours is a darker purple tho, but to see her smile that it was one of my colors made me happy!...

I new I wanted Blue and green because blue is my fave color and green is his. We (or rather I ) chose Sapphire Blue because sapphire is September's birthstone and everything important in our lives is in sept., our birthdays, our datting anniversary and wedding day the only thing that wasn't was our engagement day. We got sage because I just love the color and had saw a flowergirl dress in sage and it stuck in my head.

i loveeee the birthstone for september! what a unique idea. purple is one of my colors and i just realized its my birthstone! ha..guess that colors meant to be! :) lol and on the yogurt thing...HAHA thats funny! it took me forever to get it all out... only that would have happened to me! im trying to watch what i eat. Maybe that was God's way of saying either...pay attention..or you dont need a diet! lol...hopefully it was just pay attention! :)

We had burgundy, ivory and itty bitty hints of pink. Burgundy is both of our favorite colors, it looked good on the bridesmaids and the guys were not opposed to wearing a little of it either. Everyone was happy :)

Thanks whitni, actually we were debating for a long time on colors, like first it was Plum and Champagne, and then it turned into pink and black, and now its red and champagne (or gold) I also wanted to talk to FH about maybe doing blue and chocolate brown or maybe pink and chocolate brown (again no pink though.. LOL)

Our colours are Blue and Green. We literally have blue and green everything! I mean look at our picture! Green shirts with blue under with blue jeans! haha Green is his favorite colour and Blue is mine. My dress has a pool blue sash thingy on it and the BM will also have pool blue dresses and the GM will be wearing green vests and ties..its a bit brighter than mint green but not too bright. I'm very excited about the colours! they work for summer too so that makes it better haha.

Black and blue with silver as the accent. We picked those colors because they are our favorites and they go really well together...they are also really easy to put together and find things in that color category that work well with each other to make our hall look amazing.

No venue picked yet and this will play a big part in what colors we choose. The one venue we really liked has lotts of burgandy & gold so we will probably stick with that & maybe throw in a 3rd color. Not sure which one though.

well right now..my idea for colors is a dark purple and cream..bc black is "too goth" as my FH put it.and i have chunky girls and i wanted something that wouldnt make them look like giant pumpkins..lol..
