Which do you prefer - Chair covers/sashes or Chiavari Chairs?

Chivari chairs anyday! But they were just more expensive, extra $700 and I couldnt afford it so we went with chairs and chaircovers.

Im paying $4 per silver Chiavari chairs...

Chivari all the way!! Our venue actually includes it with all their packages - its the only chair they offer. It was a major bonus to picking the place, otherwise we wouldn't be having them.

I'm on team chiavari! I think we're going to go with a caterer simply because they offer free chairs...sigh.

I don't know what that is? but our chair covers were .75c a piece to rent

Chiavari chairs would have been nice. But I bought the chair covers and sashes, and then resold them for almost as much as I bought them for after the wedding, so they were a lot less expensive for me.

I nixed the chair cover, and am just doing sashes. I kind of agree with Hayley C. TEAM MONEY in my pocket not under your butt!

That being said, the Chivari are gorgeous and elegant, but yeah, I'm a $4,000 budget...so that was a total no go.

I like Chiavari chairs, I hate chair covers, and that being said, we are sticking with the white wooden folding chairs our venue provides. #TeamHoneymoon for the win!

I prefer chiavari but our venue wanted $4 per chair and the chair covers with sashes are free. I chose to host more open bar. #teamstuffyourguestscareabout

I love the Chivari chairs but they are $7 to $8 a chair plus cusions where I have checked. It is cheaper to buy chair covers and aashes (or use the chair covers that self tie). But if I could, I would use the chivari chairs.

I like the Chiavari chairs but they are much more expensive than $4 in my area. Definitely go with them! Great deal!

Chiavari chairs. Sadly they are not in budget for my daughter's baptism party so we are doing chair covers and sashes for that.

I really don't like chair covers. Chiavari chairs gives such a classy look. Chair covers look so tacky to me.

I loved that my venue's reception chairs were chiavari. $2 per chair, but the chiavari were the only choice.

If they didn't have chiavari chairs, I would have left them as is. I personally kinda despise chair covers.

I would go with whatever method the chairs were the most comfy. At the end of the night, your guests are not going to remember if your chairs were ugly, but if they were comfy.

We have chair covers (no sashes) because they came with the setup. The chairs were comfy and I wasn't going to have my FH pay more for a stupid bow on a chair. Plus, the covers actually come with the chairs (so they fit). My cousin got married a few years ago and the venue came with just the chairs-no covers. She bought the covers from a separate venue w/the bows (we had to put them on and take them off..huge nightmare). They NEVER fit right & I was tripping on them each time I got up from my seat.

I'm also w/Hayley on #TeamHoneymoon. I know its your wedding.. but $500 on chairs. You could move that to an open bar, or non buffet or limo service for your wedding party for the entire day of the wedding. Or towards your awesome honeymoon.

My venue comes with Chiavari chairs. No extra fee for them! Yippie!

I LOVE Chiavari but i wont pay the extra cost. People dont remember the chairs unless they are not comfy or looked like they were from the dump.
