What's next?

Ok, so my wedding is January 16, 2011. So far we've booked the venue for the ceremony and reception, bought my dress, booked the DJ, the limo, the photographers, videographers, minister, chose our colours, asked the bridesmaids & groomsmen...now what and when?
I think that's all the major stuff...did I miss anything?

It looks like you have all the major stuff taken care of! You've still got a ways to go before your wedding but you could still start pricing out flowers and cake just to keep you busy.

Oh, the cake is also being done by my FH's cousin!
I agree, all the small stuff is hard,
We did buy our guest book frame from Michaels when it was 50% off! :)

Everything has been such an easy decision so far...
but the invitations, the flowers, the programs...not looking forward to choosing! I have no clue what I want!
When should I bring my dress in to be altered?

As a way to avoid the last minute money pinch you can also start stocking up on the things for the wedding. If you do this a little at a time it won't be as stressful as forking out the cash all at once.
Things like the cake topper, cake serving set, stuff for your favors (that won't melt or go bad like whatever you are putting the favors in), tulle and stuff for your decorations. Anything you can think of.

losing 10lbs HOLY!!! I wasn't planning on having my bridesmaids carry flowers...I was going to get them fur muffs.
But I realize I still need flowers for ME :) and parents and bla bla bla...lol
I'm more into the BIG picture, not so good on the little details! Maybe when I get closer it'll be easier to buy stuff...but it's hard when it's so far away!

Omg, now that you mentioned all that, I forgot...My MOH bought me a caketopper, my aunt got the server set and our toasting glasses...I'm even further ahead then I thought.
My venue takes care of all the decorations, center pieces etc...Maybe that's why I'm at a loss!

ya, shoes and accessories are a good idea...and no haven't bought the muffs yet, found some online I like...
I guess if I buy small things here and there it won't add up as quick! That is good advice!!
I am addicted to this site!! It's amazing! I've already played with the seating chart and made my website! I love it!

Hi! I agree with the person above. Finding a florist is also a major part of your wedding. It really allows you to go in to the "Decor" mode. I have a timeline that I would be more than happy to send you. You can also start thinking about Save the Date cards! Etsy is a great place to find things like this :)

Have you figured out how you would like your hair done? It was a huge debate for me.

I don't think I'll do the save the date cards...Everyone that's going to the wedding know's already...so I don't see the need.
Hair and makeup I have someone that's going to do trials first...so that's taken care of. But maybe the florist will be the next task!
Thanks everyone for the great advice!!!
